I have listened to your account my brother - I am so sorry that you have been hurt. Please don't stop praising God, whether at that part of the Body or somewhere else (Another Assembly/Church). Unresolved hurt is an open door that can quickly lead to destruction. I pray, that you will find resolution/healing to this trauma, and not allow it to break your relationship with God. I've known Pastor Sandra since the 80's. That sounds NOTHING like her. She does believe in order and real, authentic praise. If she did that, and I SERIOUSLY doubt that she did, she knew something was off about you. Sandra is so spiritually astute it's insane. Thank you for posting this video. You don't need a church to praise God. I left the church 14 years ago and never looked back. Now I have freedom in praise. Not the same church. But you get my meaning. I have freedom in God now.
I did the same thing a long time ago. As long as I know God loves me & those who have decided to leave the church institution that's all that matters. We all need to keep in mind, that God still loves you! Always keep your relationship with God whether you leave or not. Considering the exodus that has happened since your initial comment makes your message still relevant to this day & beyond, imo.
I’ve never been to the church or know anything about the pastor except for her music. I am a Pastor’s wife and have attended many churches that allow free worship for over 40 years. I’ve seen people who have been asked to move to the back, or go into the hallway because they were dominating the worship area at the front. I’ve been in churches that the deacons escorted someone to another room who was dancing in the flesh and asked to stop or leave. 1. From what you stated something you were doing was distracting your Pastor or members of the congregation.2. Posting this is not the Biblical way to handle a disagreement with someone. 3. I may disagree with something a minister does or says but I would never share my thoughts openly. I was taught to respect the position of a Pastor or someone who you know accepted a calling to serve, they are accountable to God. 4. I would encourage you first to take this down and then send a letter of apology to the Pastor. 5. Leave the church quietly and find one God has for you to attend. 6. Forgiveness is necessary for you to go forward in your Spiritual walk.
I agree. But, you didn't mention anything about the Pastor apologizing to him nor contacting him. It goes both ways. All Christians should show humility and respect. We are all brothers and sisters in Christ.

I have been in Ministry for over 60 yrs. You appear to have a deep see my praise problem. I am the loud and best praiser in this house. Sit down somewhere and learn! True praise and worship is not to be out of order. Plus you were conveying things to your friend with church hurt about your good Pastor. Good music et . But when this friend sees you being a good look. Brother have a seat you definitely have an incorrect idea about praise.
You must have been a big disturbance for them to take you out and they do encourage loud praise and worship so you must have been super extra with bringing attention to yourself. It is the responsibility of the pastor to keep the service focused upon The Lord and His Glory. Stop spreading this gossip if you are truly a Christian.
It's not gossip if it's his story..they should've met with him discretely after service and explained their concern. Yes..decently and in order..but quenching a novice is not GOD'S order. It became an unnecessary spiritual battle ..further distancing God's presence..

They are always "claiming to praise God" but they really want to be notice by the Pastor and given some sort of task. Notice the "Hollywood" sign in his background. He want to be a star. There was a man that repeated walked up to the pulpit and after several Sundays of this behavior. He came down and he made it just about to step up before he was guided away. My bishop said bring him to me son. So the deacon escorted him to bishop. Bishop said bring me my oil. Let me pray for him and anoint him so this spirit can flee. It’s a distraction. Ministers are often live streaming and everything can’t be censored like television recordings that aren’t live. There’s a responsibility there to protect what is going out. It’s also a comfort zone. How close would you be comfortable with a stranger walking up to you? Do you have any idea what that stranger is capable of? ...... I don’t care who hurt me in the physical church..they will never stop me from my connection and my relationship with Jesus Christ and God our Father...never Jesus didn’t offend you so why would you make him guilty of that offense??? As a retired minister from the pulpit, this thing about membership which is not biblical has ruin a lot of people's trust. I know what he is saying because I was put to sit down when I was younger from playing the keyboard just because I did not put my name on the dotted line as a member of the church. The reason why we go to church is to find fellowship and if there is no fellowship, there is no point in going. We as worshippers need to be aware that Jesus Christ came to seek and to save those who were lost. If the love of God dwells in us richly we know how to treat one another with love. God is love and we should let love abound.

Aside from the fact that there's a lack of a good grasp on the English language from this gentleman, it sounds like there's a greater underlying problem that supersedes being "stopped in the middle of a praise". I do not believe andrae would stop telling anyone to praise Jesus. Saundra, I’m not sure about, but I had a mother who was a pastor underneat my dad. She would never have just stepped into that position after my dad died. She would have stepped down. I use to go when Aundre and Sandra's father was the pastor. I even attended a few services when Aundre and Sandra had the church. Some places are just not for everyone. I found that that particular church was not for me and I found good teaching at BEFIC in Inglewood, California. I've realized that a lot of churches have members with power struggle issues. However I'm not there for their discretions I'm there for my own. Now if I was told by security or any member to praise Yahweh in the back or anywhere else I would immediately leave that church. Continue church in my own home reading my Bible comfortably. Sir I'm sorry you had such a bad experience there and I pray you have moved on. MAY THE LORD CONTINUALLY BLESS YOU.
There was this guy who used to praise God in the front of the church, he would run supper fast and knock people over and jump over folks. The brotheren would try to create room for him to do his thang but it was making others afraid. So I'm sure just like a pan cake their are always two sides. [Not sure if you are still reading this as it's two years later! But perhaps my reply will speak to someone else.] I do agree though with someone else's comment here that you ought to have tried to talk to the pastor yourself afterward, for that's our biblical model for dealing with things. [Matthew 18: 15-17] When I haven't followed that myself, I've regretted it later. Also please consider that perhaps you were being louder than you'd realized when praising our Lord in the service, and it may have been distracting to the pastor. [Though I don't know as I wasn't there.] And keep in mind she had just lost her brother also. In any case, please forgive whatever wrong you feel you've endured, keep your eyes on Jesus and never stop praising Him in your heart. Brother it sounds like you have been in the church and around the people of God for many years. It may be decades. If that is true, you know you don't wrestle against flesh and blood. What you describe may have been hurtful to you, to your ego and do your view of worship, before God. There is a kind of praise that can be distractive to a worship service. You seem to be a man of great passion and a tender heart. Praise God! Never allow "clay" man or woman, steel your joy, worship or commitment to God. Stay away from bitterness, it destroys you and everyone around you. God is judge and will make all things right.

Why would you even go back? There are many many great churches in southern California. If I felt unwanted in a fellowship I don't stay, I leave and take my tithes and offerings with me as I'm a generous giver. I don't go where I'm unwanted. You don't put your faith in a person but God and Him only. He does NOT share His glory with man or woman
Why not just find another church? And the same praise, every Sunday, from the same person can be annoying. Praise and thank God by doing good for others, pass to others your blessings, instead for just talking about the goodness of God.
Pastors have raised themselves above the congregations and made themselves gods that they are not allowed to be corrected. SHE should have called him and spoke to him in private. Many of you have only selective biblical knowledge. All of YHWH's word is for All of us, you have too much idolatry for your pastors and no real consideration for the truth of scriptures.
Think of the seven churches in the scriptures. And read the writings of Paul to the various churches. All the churches had different leaders. All the congregation memberships consisted of different people. Their experiences and level of understanding varied from church to church. Their individual strengths weaknesses comprehension and temptations were all different. No the Bible does not contradict itself. The history is their for our learning. Read it realistically. And get with a church that worship openly. As you grow on the spirit and through scriptures you'll be content that Sandra is just a human being and your walk is with Christ.
I'm looking at this video about 7 yrs late but I'm sure that you've figured out by now, that God can be praised anywhere, and is not confined to a particular church building, or church body. God can be praised anywhere - on the mountain top , in the desert, in the forest or jungle, in prison etc., - God is everywhere and can receive praise everywhere. I would advise that you forgive the Pastor as Christ would want you to. Consider that it was reported to me many years ago, that the pastor and her brother were both born on July 1, 1942. If true, then of this Christmas Day, 2022, she would now be 80yrs and almost 6 mos. old. She is not only the Pastor but also an elder of her Church, and should be honored and respected as such. I hope you have forgiven her by now.

Secondly, Pastor Sandra has just lost her beast friend, her twin brother,you don't expect her to have gotten over it and be so strong right here right now. Yes THE LORD is more than able to heal all wound and grieve, but they were together for 72 years,please don't forget that. So please whatever she announced or said or did, please forgive her. I am a twin myself and quiet understand. Also,its possible you were out of line and the security people were over-zealous in the way they acted towards you. Like i said, i wasn't there. I know CZcams wasn't available then, but I'm sure the Pharisees would have gotten the word out, if that's what needed to be done. But, we were not taught, by the Scriptures, to blast others in this manner. This only helps the devil out. Satan is the accuser of the brethren, and he needs no help.

This is Johan Broersma. Brother Reed, don't put your faith in people, only put your faith in God. Secondly, go to a church where there are male elders. The bible gives clear regulations for that. By the way, I have not read in the New Testament that a church should be led by a pastor, God's word only says there should be a group of elders. Christians should go back to the biblical rules and not follow their own ideas. We have seen often enough where it leads to when one particular man has been given authority over a church. It is unbiblical. Lastly I wonder whether this story should have been published on the internet. It would have been better to talk this over with the person concerned. Christ did not set any of His disciples in leadership positions as in human businesses or organizations. The Holy Spirit was assigned as leader. The word pastor rightfully means feeder as in feeding sheep, not leading, for Christ is our only leader.The building is just a building; we are the church wherever we go. I’ve never been to the church or know anything about the pastor except for her music. I am a Pastor’s wife and have attended many churches that allow free worship for over 40 years. I’ve seen people who have been asked to move to the back, or go into the hallway because they were dominating the worship area at the front. I’ve been in churches that the deacons escorted someone to another room who was dancing in the flesh and asked to stop or leave.
1. From what you stated something you were doing was distracting your Pastor or members of the congregation.2. Posting this is not the Biblical way to handle a disagreement with someone. 3. I may disagree with something a minister does or says but I would never share my thoughts openly. I was taught to respect the position of a Pastor or someone who you know accepted a calling to serve, they are accountable to God. 4. I would encourage you first to take this down and then send a letter of apology to the Pastor. 5. Leave the church quietly and find one God has for you to attend. 6. Forgiveness is necessary for you to go forward in your Spiritual walk.

There was a man that repeated walked up to the pulpit and after several Sundays of this behavior. He came down and he made it just about to step up before he was guided away. My bishop said bring him to me son. So the deacon escorted him to bishop. Bishop said bring me my oil. Let me pray for him and anoint him so this spirit can flee. It’s a distraction. Ministers are often live streaming and everything can’t be censored like television recordings that aren’t live. There’s a responsibility there to protect what is going out. It’s also a comfort zone. How close would you be comfortable with a stranger walking up to you? Do you have any idea what that stranger is capable of?

As a retired minister from the pulpit, this thing about membership which is not biblical has ruin a lot of people's trust. I know what he is saying because I was put to sit down when I was younger from playing the keyboard just because I did not put my name on the dotted line as a member of the church. This is wrong in the eyes of God. There is only one church, the church if the blood washed.
I want to know if the person ever communicated, directly, with Pastor Crouch. In writing, meeting or otherwise. And if that did happen, did Pastor Crouch ever respond?
The reason why we go to church is to find fellowship and if there is no fellowship, there is no point in going. We as worshippers need to be aware that Jesus Christ came to seek and to save those who were lost. If the love of God dwells in us richly we know how to treat one another with love. She would never have just stepped into that position after my dad died. She would have stepped down. I use to go when Aundre and Sandra's father was the pastor. I even attended a few services when Aundre and Sandra had the church. Some places are just not for everyone. I found that that particular church was not for me and I found good teaching at BEFIC in Inglewood, California. I've realized that a lot of churches have members with power struggle issues. However I'm not there for their discretions I'm there for my own. Now if I was told by security or any member to praise Yahweh in the back or anywhere else I would immediately leave that church. Continue church in my own home reading my Bible comfortably. Sir I'm sorry you had such a bad experience there and I pray you have moved on. MAY THE LORD CONTINUALLY BLESS YOU.
There was this guy who used to praise God in the front of the church, he would run supper fast and knock people over and jump over folks. The brotheren would try to create room for him to do his thang but it was making others afraid. So I'm sure just like a pan cake their are always two sides. I definitely think you were owed an apology for being manhandled by the elders/ushers as you've related it, in such a way that sent you to the urgent care no less. [Not sure if you are still reading this as it's two years later! But perhaps my reply will speak to someone else.] I do agree though with someone else's comment here that you ought to have tried to talk to the pastor yourself afterward, for that's our biblical model for dealing with things. [Matthew 18: 15-17] When I haven't followed that myself, I've regretted it later.
Also please consider that perhaps you were being louder than you'd realized when praising our Lord in the service, and it may have been distracting to the pastor. [Though I don't know as I wasn't there.] And keep in mind she had just lost her brother also. In any case, please forgive whatever wrong you feel you've endured, keep your eyes on Jesus and never stop praising Him in your heart. Brother it sounds like you have been in the church and around the people of God for many years. It may be decades. If that is true, you know you don't wrestle against flesh and blood. What you describe may have been hurtful to you, to your ego and do your view of worship, before God. There is a kind of praise that can be distractive to a worship service. You seem to be a man of great passion and a tender heart. Praise God! Never allow "clay" man or woman, steel your joy, worship or commitment to God. Why would you even go back? There are many many great churches in southern California. If I felt unwanted in a fellowship I don't stay, I leave and take my tithes and offerings with me as I'm a generous giver. I don't go where I'm unwanted.

I just think there are aspects to the whole story we are not hearing here. Not taking sides, but this was quite vague.
Why not just find another church? And the same praise, every Sunday, from the same person can be annoying. Praise and thank God by doing good for others, pass to others your blessings, instead for just talking about the goodness of God.
Pastors have raised themselves above the congregations and made themselves gods that they are not allowed to be corrected. SHE should have called him and spoke to him in private. Many of you have only selective biblical knowledge. All of YHWH's word is for All of us, you have too much idolatry for your pastors and no real consideration for the truth of scriptures.
Think of the seven churches in the scriptures. And read the writings of Paul to the various churches. All the churches had different leaders. All the congregation memberships consisted of different people. Their experiences and level of understanding varied from church to church. Their individual strengths weaknesses comprehension and temptations were all different. No the Bible does not contradict itself. The history is their for our learning. Read it realistically. And get with a church that worship openly. As you grow on the spirit and through scriptures you'll be content that Sandra is just a human being and your walk is with Christ.
I'm looking at this video about 7 yrs late but I'm sure that you've figured out by now, that God can be praised anywhere, and is not confined to a particular church building, or church body. God can be praised anywhere - on the mountain top , in the desert, in the forest or jungle, in prison etc., - God is everywhere and can receive praise everywhere. I would advise that you forgive the Pastor as Christ would want you to. Consider that it was reported to me many years ago, that the pastor and her brother were both born on July 1, 1942. If true, then of this Christmas Day, 2022, she would now be 80yrs and almost 6 mos. old. She is not only the Pastor but also an elder of her Church, and should be honored and respected as such. I hope you have forgiven her by now.

I know CZcams wasn't available then, but I'm sure the Pharisees would have gotten the word out, if that's what needed to be done. But, we were not taught, by the Scriptures, to blast others in this manner. This only helps the devil out. Satan is the accuser of the brethren, and he needs no help.

This is Johan Broersma. Brother Reed, don't put your faith in people, only put your faith in God. Secondly, go to a church where there are male elders. The bible gives clear regulations for that. By the way, I have not read in the New Testament that a church should be led by a pastor, God's word only says there should be a group of elders. Christians should go back to the biblical rules and not follow their own ideas. We have seen often enough where it leads to when one particular man has been given authority over a church. It is unbiblical. Lastly I wonder whether this story should have been published on the internet. It would have been better to talk this over with the person concerned. Stay close to the Lord and I hope sister Sandra will do the same. May the Almighty keep you both.

DJay -The only leadership in the church is God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. Anyone else is man or self ordained. All others are ministers operating according to their calling. Christ did not set any of His disciples in leadership positions as in human businesses or organizations. The Holy Spirit was assigned as leader. We were mandated to work together in love to strengthen the church (body of Christ universal) and to spread the gospel. The word pastor rightfully means feeder as in feeding sheep, not leading, for Christ is our only leader.The building is just a building; we are the church wherever we go. We were not called to corporate worship as in the Old Testament in a specific place, our bodies are now the Temple of God; His spirit now dwells within us. We can now worship God in spirit and in truth anywhere; anytime, with or without company or music. So, many Christians are now sitting on their God-given ministry gifts submitting themselves and looking up to human leaders and not to God for leadership, but we all have to give an account to God and not the pastor for our individual calling. The pastor would not be able to defend us. That is why there is so much confusion in churches and many people feel stifled, and are hurt in the process.
