- In this video, I'm discussing the top differences you need to be aware of when switching from 2-Wheels to 3-Wheels or vice versa. Obviously, both type of motorcycling provide a very similar experience in terms of freedom and excitement. However, 3-Wheeled vehicles like Can-Am Rykers and Spyedrs are fundamentally different than their 2-Wheeled couterparts. So if you are considering trading in your Harley for a Can-Am Spyder or even trading your Can-Am Ryker for a Kawasaki Ninja, this video breaks down some of the key differences!

Great video. I have often wondered about trying out a 2 wheel, the Ryker is my first "motorcycle". I have put my Ryker thru the paces, long trips, racked up just over 15,000, but sometimes I feel like I'm missing out not trying a regular motorcycle. Cool to see others that share this experience going from 3 to 2.
Awesome that you've hit over 15k miles, impressive stuff. Yeah man, I don't think you are necessarily missing out, but it is worth doing a 2-wheel course and just learning the differences. I enjoy both but still prefer 3-wheels.
I started on a katana 600 back on the early 2000s, quit for 11 years then found the Ryker and started back on a 900 rally. Decked it out right away, exhaust, intake, BLR tune. It was fun but I soon missed leaning. Swapped it in for 2 wheels. In 6 months I couldn't find a 400, r3, or r7, so I went for a white 500r. I've loved it. 17k miles first year. Up to 20k miles now and building a 125cc sumo. I miss the Ryker for long trips, but love the ability to filter and split on the 500. Some people will hate on Ryker's, hell half the peeps hate on the Honda. Just do what makes you happy.
I was a 2 wheel since 1968 , yes that’s right 1968, I physically cannot ride 2 wheels anymore, so 3 wheels are fine . It’s all about enjoying the freedom of the ride 👍
That's what it is all about!
As a two-wheeler, I fee you did an outstanding job in this video.
Great job, keep up the good work. It must be super fun working with Can-am on those videos.
Thanks for the tips, great to see you post a video again, this makes you think and hopefully be safer. Thanks again

Wow! Brand embassador! Way to go 3dubs. Great video. 👍🏾
Thank you man!
Great video! I have owned 3 different 2 wheeled motorcycles over the last 15 year and I traded and sold them. The last 2 years now I have been driving my ryker rally. I love the 3 wheel but I miss the freedom of a 2 wheel. I'm thinking about selling it and getting a Indian Super Chief Limited.
Nothing wrong with changing between the 2...i do it..be safe
Older guy told me he switched to trike due to traffic jams.
Haha decent reason.
What is a 'money bike'?
Monkey* bike - Honda Monkey based off of the older mini moto bikes they made in the 70’s
3 wheels better when riding in stop and go traffic riding in bad weather more stability. Passenger weight and cargo dont bother cause you are more planted on 3 wherls
