- We spent 48 hours chasing every offshore species we could! Leaaving out of Jupiter, FL we fished both live baits and jigs with the hope of bringing home something delicious for a catch clean & cook. Fishing for offshore (deep sea) species in this way is one of my favorite things to do and I hope you all enjoy the video!

@@RyanMorie Trying my hardest to get back down there. I’ve only caught small sharks and grouper but I’ve got my eyes set on some bigger fish now I’m older.

Hey ryan, I want your help on a decision im making. Im going to buy my first high-end reel, but I dont know what to go for. Im traveling the world right now so I need something that doesn't need to get sent in to the shop often. I dont care much about weight or smoothness, unlimited budget as well. Probably around the 3500-5000 range. Also, thank you for putting out all these high quality enjoyable videos. Best of luck to you and your family for years to come.
A Van Staal VSB 2 would probably be the most “durable” and need the least TLC.

Im planning to try and hit the Sebastian Inlet area for the Mullet run this fall. I've been there only once 2 years ago, and I think we were there the third week of September. The bite was pretty good.
I'm curious if you think the 3rd or 4th week of September would be a good time to go this year, or if maybe the 1st week of October would be better?
I don't have a lot of experience down there and I know timing is important. Any advice you can give would be awesome man. I know you are very familiar with the mullet run.

Earlier like 3rd week has been better for snook the past few years. But if we get a hurricane… no one will have any clue what the fish will do haha

What do you think is the best shark bait to use from the surf??
It depends how I’m fishing, casting I like fresh mackerel, bluefish, ladyfish: something oily with tons of scent.
Paddling baits via kayak I like a big Jack crevalle or sting ray
Bluefish on east coast for sharks 10' and over. Or a stingray 16" or smaller they love the wings
Fry that bonita like a steak and season it with some garlic powder

Hey I’m always fishing down west palm beach coast would u mind giving me a tow out there lol I got a 13 skiff with a 2.5 four stroke
The comment about how one anger sometimes has int and one fishing the exact same setup next to the first angler doesn't. I live near the mouth of the Cheasapeake Bay and I was fishing on a friend's (he is a charter Captain who runs and owns a 58' boat and a 26 Regulator) standing right next to him. He was catching nothing and I was catching a fish every 3-4 minutes. It drove him nuts.

Fish heavier gear, heavy mono mainline helps.
Also when a fish wraps you, loosen up and play them slow. Sometimes you can get lucky and slowly coax them out
