- Fishing under one of the largest oil rigs in the Gulf of Mexico we tested a brand new lure concept by "No Live Bait Needed" Lure company. I hook up to something huge and enter a crazy battle! Deep sea fishing for massive yellowfin tuna we threw giant soft plastic NLBN lures with the hope of landing a giant. After the fishing we clean and cook a massive yellowfin tuna! Ryan, your channel is that of incredible quality. I mean this feature is something that EASILY could have been on ESPN2 on Saturday AM before the YT days. The little things set you apart: Interviewing everyone on the boat, from the Capt. to the Cameraman, being incredibly professional and respectful, having a genuinely good time, the awesome drone shots, the quality voice-overs, not cursing every other word, the list goes on and on. I can't imagine how many hours it takes to make something like this feature but we're glad you did!

Great video Ryan! As always, you are one of the best storytellers on YT. Some awesome fishing & catching in this one. I will say, having Joe VT made this even better. You guys are definitely 2 of my favourites. Christina definitely makes a great sushi roll, but I was wondering why no cucumber in the first one. Lol. She did call herself out. The crunchy onion was different but I’m betting on it being a great texture for sushi.

That first spot yall came up on is a drill ship , i worked on one fora year or so. We couldn't fish around it because nof the 6 thrusters that controled its tiny movements. Awesome.

OceanDevil is no joke man, Daniel makes an amazing braid, glad someone’s repping it and getting the word out. PE 5 is what we use on our headboat for yellowfin out of Texas, our biggest so far went 154lbs. Recently got PE6 on my 14k certate, looking forward to putting it through the gulf gauntlet and seeing what it can take.

Hey man, y'all launch out of the same marina my dad and i do, and sometimes when we go down there I have actually seen that boat! I hope my dad and I can one day go out like yall and get some tunas and pelagics! (we just stick right in the rigs that are like 30 feet deep and sometimes out on the jettys once the mouth of the pass opens)

I enjoyed the video. I didn't know you could use a knife to cut through that tough part under the dorsal. I always thought it was difficult because our Tuna was frozen (kept on ice for several days). We always started our processing with the cut down the lateral line, then dug in with our hands and pulled the meat off the ribs to remove the loins.
