@@shahmiramjad6731 Gold price is inversely proportional to the ratio of production of newly mined plus recycled gold over existing global supply of gold (latest value 1.2%). Now include supply increase of dollar over existing supply. Now include devaluation of rupee against dollar.

What's the point in comparing NIFTY with gold in USD as nifty in rupees. It's great hedge against equity in India and almost same return with low volatility. Generally gold cycle are long-term like it runs for 20 years and correction or sideways for 10 years.
