I had the pleasure to watch Ronnie in an exhibition match in Huddersfield in (around) 2006. He made not one, but two 147's in that match. I know top end professionals probably knock them in regularly in practice, but seeing the two maximums was so special and something I'll never forget.
I saw Shaun Murphy knock in 2 147s within 3 frames in an exhibition ( 99% he was playing against Jimmy White)
I didn't realise Ronnie had knocked in 2 in one match as well,I thought it must have been a record for Shaun ( even though you would think of Ronnie doing it rather than Shaun) also there is a MASSIVE DIFFERENCE between doing it in an exhibition with no pressure and doing it in a televised tournament,but it's still an amazing achievement, Shaun got about a 10 minute standing ovation

There’s no other way to describe Ronnie O’Sullivan than the greatest player to ever wield a snooker cue , more natural ability than even his nearest rival ( the great Stephen Hendry) and amazing longevity as well.. unarguably the GOAT!

I made a 147 once. I was so happy... But then they told me I had to make 147 in 1 frame, not 9...
It is a start!

My highest break was a 120.....quite proud of that.....in a snooker game on my iPad

I love how everyone stopped to watch, even the players on the other table.
It's such a special achievement and crazy how Ronnie has 15 in tournaments
Watching this I realized he can 147 anytime he feels like it.
Unfortunately he doesn't feel like it anymore, so he won't be getting any more maximums
Highly unlikely. Not even O'Sullivan is that good.
Even O'Sullivan needs some luck when sending the cue ball into the pack of reds. And he did have a few near things, like the blue, and the extra red he touched after 5:03 where he could have snookered himself.

@@TheEvertwthe extra red was controlled perfectly. But yes, everybody gets a little bit of luck. I would say it’s not true Ronnie can make a 147 whenever he feels like it, he’s not a robot, if that were true there would be no competition. But I think it’s sensible to recognize it’s definitely not something he strives for, also considering there were two times he passed on a 147 and made a 146 just because he wanted to.
When I first saw Ronnie play I thought he must have sold his soul to be so good.
I'm wondering what Taylor's first shot strategy was. He basically set Ronnie up
He probably wanted the cue to end up next to the cushion, but it rolled farther than he intended.
Peter Ebdon would probably be on 16 points, after asking the referee to clean the cue ball 8 times, LOL

Ronnie, on form, makes snooker look so easy because he knows the table and has incredible cue ball control which makes the next shot easy but there were times here when he didn't get position but had let an alternative & others where he had to play a difficult ball to say on te black.
I stil enjoy watching the controversial match when he potted 1 red and then asked the referee what was the prize for a 147.
when told there was none he potted al the balls in sequence then stopped at the pink in protest because he had won the frame, which is all he is required to do.
This upset the crowd & the Ref. who persuaded him to go back to the table to complete the 147.
