Justin's Journey - 2021 Christmas Complete Skateboard Setup

- Putting together JMAN's New Christmas Complete Skateboard [Anti-Hero Skateboards Classic Eagle Green, 8.38"] on Christmas Eve while listening to selected songs by Stick Figure, Iration and Guns n Roses. The build ended up carrying over into Christmas Day, but got it under the tree in time for morning.
JMAN continues to like the Anti-Hero Skateboards 8.38" set up with Mob Grip, Shake Junt Hardware, Independent Titanium Trucks, Bones Soft Bushings and Bones 58 mm SPF P5 Wheels. This time, we are going with Bones Swiss 6 Bearings.
To keeps things safe and working, we overhauled his trucks this time by changing out the old (5+ years) pivot cups, Kingpin and Axle Nuts.

Deck - Anti-Hero 8.38" Classic Eagle (8.38" x 32.25", 14.5" wheelbase)
Trucks - Independent Titanium 149s
Bushings - Bones Soft
Bearings - Bones Swiss 6
Hardware - Shake Junt

Wheels - Bones 58mm SPF
1/8" Risers - Sport
Best board! I’ve had quite a few of these! 8.38 with 14.5wb is heaven! Light yet still stable! Definitely an ATV setup!
My son really liked this board. He went up to the 8.62" w/ 14.75" WB as he's gotten bigger over the past 2 years.
Sub 8 is coming back baby

Thanks for checking out the vid! I don't know if it's a Sunnyvale Skatepark thing, but everyone seems to like the AH shape with the fuller nose and not the football tapered nose from other brands.
Hi! My name is Ace, I remember you from when I practiced Kendo with Salinas dojo back in the late 90's and early 2000's. I remember you borrowed my board once after a tournament up in Sac. and busted a quick wallride, super sick. Its a trip to stumble on your youtube channel since I worked for several years teaching skate camps and also used to be a one on one special education para in the SFUSD. Over the years I have noticed that skateboarding can be a great activity for children with special needs. I'm stoked to learn about the journey you and your son have been on with skating. I live in SF, if you ever come up this way we gotta meet up and skate some time!
Hi Ace! Glad to reconnect! Thanks for checking out the channel and our Family's journey! Quite different from Kendo, but he has found his passion. We definitely have to skate together soon! Just have to figure out where....JMAN hasn't expressed much interest in the skateparks up in SF as he has no interest in any street or tech riding.
