    Fix the hole with exhaust patch tape and exhaust pipe clamp. Then drill a hole for a stainless bolt and nut in both the two side brackets. Then run around a stainless cv boot "tie clamp" and tighten it with the special CV boot pliers.

    21:45 Why don't you buy nut extractor, did my astra with these after getting rid of the ring . Brilliant tools.Also better than destroying sockets and replace them with standard nuts who nicks alloy's nowadays 👍

    Just a thought, a cheap flux core mig welder is a good choice for thin metal. Less likely to blow holes and fairly easy to patch them if you do. I have done a lot of successful exhaust related repairs with mine and I'm not a welder at all, just watched a few CZcams videos.

    just catching up with your vids after my jollys had the same problem with my exhaust its a comon problem got my mine fixed by the local exhaust doctor just taced a plate to it but there is an after market bracket you can buy its a u clamp with bracket attached for rubber mount to fix to

    Arc welding is quite hard, mig is much easier

    After doing all the belts on this vehicle l would replace the exhaust would look better for future customers so bite the bullet and replace try your scrap yard contacts first or eBay good luck enjoy the wend
