Who are you currently working for? Client, contractor, subcontractor, or owner-builder?

Client. I work for a design consultancy where 80% of our work is for the council (the client). And 20% is private.

Are there positives and negatives of each? (E.g salary)

Hi James. Both paths can offer you good experience. We’re not aware of any stark differences in salary so you shouldn’t let this cloud your decision if you were considering one or the other. We recommend you do some research of your own so you’re certain what path is right for you.

@@Metroun appreciate your reply. I have done my own research although not too many significant differences.
