Honestly sounds dope, but some things do not make sense to me:
- If he finessed him by feeding information, and knew what he was gonna drop next, why wasn't this diss released straight after meet the grahams 2 days ago or yesterday after not like us. This is reminiscent of Drake's tracks that often reference timestamps, while Kendrick has his the heart Part series, which some may overlook in its complexity.
There are a lot of subtle things in this that many people will miss. He used the word nicca only once when he called him dumb and reactive.

Cases like Cosby and Weinstein were know things in the industry and by the time social media came to light, their relevancy had shrunk significantly so it makes sense why it took time with them. Cases like R Kelly and Puffy are unforgivable because it was largely know that these people were doing some inhumane things. Instead of taking a stand, the majority of people made fun of the situation or chose to turn a blind eye. R Kelly literally had a sex tape of him peeing on a child and it was heavily circulated but people still chose to support his music. His music literally surged once he went prison again. DJ Akademiks has stated numerous times that the majority of rappers are messing with kids. Intentionally targeting underage kids. It’s not limited to just entertainment either, day in day out there are high level adult entertainer exposing celebrities for doing the most immoral things but nobody cares unless it’s some gay shit. Puffy is undoubtedly messing with children and instead of highlighting that we emphasis the fact that he’s gay. This issue is insanely widespread. DJ Akademiks used to talk about how big of an issue this is because of how top to bottom the whole thing is. New and old rappers are partaking. My issue with singling out Drake in this manner is that it doesn’t lead to anywhere outside of tea or rap debates. You have to come with facts otherwise it’ll only add to the ignorance already surrounding this issue. I’m fuming with anger towards Kendrick for not speaking on this in greater depths or bringing facts because it just adds to ambiguity of where to take a stance on this. Evidence should be evidence but when weave narratives and set agendas to validate our worldview it just adds to difficulty of getting this issue addressed. We need to be seeing the nuances of this issue, highlighting them to reach common ground and holding everyone accountable so these sickos can never see the light of day again. If you really cared then you’d see how different each of these cases are and why we need evidence in a situation like this. Lee said it straight away as soon as he heard the allegations - Kendrick has to report this to the authorities if any of it is true. Fuck a rap battle. These are peoples lives.
