Super quality video Scott. It's great you have the kids home to give you some support. Keep safe bud, I look forward to the video of you getting that plate off the base of the dozer 👍
Drone footage came out sick!!! When the dozer turns and moves the dirt it’s so cool
Uncles had a couple of A-C HD-3's years ago and the rig gear was riveted to the plate instead of bolted and sheared off. Had to beat the rivet pieces out and then bolt it back up. Had the machine on railroad ties and 2by's to get it off the ground. Got the job done and was moving the cribbing and there laid a copperhead and had been there for a WHILE..................and us too! And yes, the belly pan comes down and up in one piece. Jacks and a comealong. BLESSINGS!
Thanks Lewie! I planned on a piece of plywood for the Jack to roll on...
@@HiddenValleyHomestead That'll work. You can also run a come along from end to end and lift the whole thing but it gets tipsy/flopsy. God Bless!
Spend my younger days working on a JD 450. Feel your pain.
👍👍
The badge reads as follows 350CE 260157T, and the original numbers are still on it 350C. I could email you some pictures if you want me to. I haven’t been able to figure out what the “C” means. Maybe it has something to do with the winch?
Where your safety glasses when you're underneath
Do you have any videos on attaching a ripper to a John Deere 350C?
No but I could do one for you!
We are trying to pull off the little 1/4 drive line on the drivers side. Any tips? we can barley see the dang thing from the top, dropoped the belly pan and its still not looking fun lol
Ha. Yeah not really... You just gotta gut it out and take it all apart... I got some good tips on the video about to come out with a handy tool set i got just for hoses!
@@HiddenValleyHomestead ya i had to take off many hoes to get to that damn 1/4 inch drive line lol. I used vice grips to break a couple of them loose. fun times. thank you for the reply
That line is a real pain to fix. Not one of Deere’s better designs on this generation dozer.
I finally got it off. Had to pull the clutch bar off then the two lines above that tiny drive line. Now we cant find one so we are looking into ways to repair it @@sartainja
How do you check the RPM's after relacing the throttle cable ?
Well im sure there is a meter of some sort you can hook up somewhere on the motor for an accurate reading to verify the dash gauge... But my gauge works. It's a direct mechanical cable from a gear drive on the top of the engine....
can you send me some pictures of how its hooked up and the cable is run ?@@HiddenValleyHomestead
Sure. Email me your contact info
Have you ever weighed the 350b?
Yes sir. She weighs almost exactly 11,000 with the 6 way blade and rear ripper assembly! I was surprised. I thought she would be more!
That would be great! It is a 1976 John Deere 350c
I'm pretty sure it's a 350B
...not a C. But what makes you think it's a C ???
you talk too much just show use not talk about it
Well most subscribers want to know the info and facts about it... so I talk about it. Otherwise I get too many questions
Great video Scot and thanks for explaining what you are doing. @Robert Hillyard all you do is complain on creator videos. Stop being a bully!
