A lot of Apple stuff gets more recognition that it deserves due to the brand image. I don't see the market for this product other than Apple cultists because professional users already have had AR devices tailored to their specific needs for some time now (I've had the pleasure of using AR goggles for analyzing bone prostheses in an orthopedics demo a good few years ago), whilst casual users/gamers will preferably pick a VR set that is a fraction of the price. 3500$ is ridiculous and I have no idea who would want to buy something like this in their right mind.

Also one should account for inflation. And everything nowadays has a high price tag! Especially food

Yes, that’s true. However, I think we can expect the price to go down a lot in future versions of Apple’s AR headset. Maybe they will release an Apple Vision non-pro.
