Respect to your missus! “It’s the crank seal isn’t it?” Called it, go on love 👍🏻
fantastic job man i watch every single one of your videos huge fan so legit and honnest in your videos not some fake ass so happy on your behave have a good one mate
Well thank you - i appreciate the support more than you'll know.
Yes, well done. You inspire me to keep going with mine!
I wish my lass would know as much about cars :)
Like the build, small note I had subtitles still on from a vid I was watching in other language and CZcams subtitles really does not work with your accent it makes for a great laugh 😁😂😂😂
this video is so much fun to watch, it feels like an adventure
Amazing you got that back together and running looked so complicated
O and reckon the new camera makes you look younger or as the stress gone
Now it’s back running lol
The wait is over! Congrats on your build!
That was dramatic. My anxiety was high ...can only imagine how it must have been for you . Sounds really good.....once it is tuned it will be running perfect .
Thanks Richard.
Congrats on getting it running! Definitely love the new camera. Excited for more content, keep up the great work. Also, a dual shear shift rod should definitely help with the shifter lean. The stock single shear one allows for a lot of lean and play. (Not sure if you’re already running one). Good luck!
You two really are the dream team/relationship goals. Proper partners in crime. As I've told you in person many times lol but everytime I see it it makes me happy for both of you :) loved the editing too especially the beginning bit with MJ hahaha! You best still have that beard growing, I've had to shave mine off for work meh. I love the fact you end it sat in a CRX seat too ;)
Thank you as always mate.
@@ManSeeksCivic you're welcome my brother
Fantastic work Paul. I look forward to seeing the dyno results!
Congratulations on getting the car together and running!
Excited every time I see a video in my sub box, lots to learn!
Loved this series, waiting for whats to come.
blown motor you never do this mod.....deck height its not tall enough to handle the crank and such. save the block just put in bigger cams......my m52b28 has 335i intake cam and bigger exhaust cam by moving stock intake to exhaust side and puting 335i cam..on intake ....you get some real power
Really happy for you, nice Job!
Looking forward to see you give it a proper drive, I'm sure it's broken in properly by now. Judging by the leaves on the trees it's been a while since this was filmed.
love watching your videos Pamo keep up the good work the pair of you 👍
The wait is over 😃
So much adrenaline before starting and at the first runs. ;)
M50? but M50 has oil cap in the back, not in front :/ isnt this m52?
Anyways, great series of stroker build! ;)
Started with m52, ended up with an m50 block, m52 head.
I also noticed it. There's also metal oil filter cap on M50, this one has plastic. M52 head on M50 block is a great choice, M52 head has stiffer valve springs.
@@ManSeeksCivic BTW what injectors are you running? Stock green ones or 2.8 red ones?
0280155831 bosch volvo injectors with my map adjusted to allow them to respond like pink tops (i.e.fuel turned down by around 30%)
Excellent job man well done
amazing job 👌
hey. how did you do the crankcase breather to this manifold ? i see you are using stock m52tu head.
Check my m50 manifold video, it's that install you see here 👍
Sounds strong!
Did you solve the dying on throttle yet? It’s just your acceleration enrichment... it leans out as the blade opens... need more fuel at your partial throttle 👍🏻
I did mate, it was me calculating the wrong numbers on my new fuel injectors.
Awesome intro!
sounded great 👍
ROMRaider for fuel timings?
Yee yee lets getit
Ms41 ? What maps table need to change for 3.0 stroker ? My car m52b25 , i have a plan to stroke up 2.8 or maybe 3.0
Ms41.2, mainly fuel and ignition. Check out the RomRaider forum for more info.
@@ManSeeksCivic by the way , i hear hva sound on your car, is it true ?? Like diesel engine sound
I'm not 100% sure what you mean. My engine uses hydraulic valve adjusters, they tap before full of oil. It also sounds like there is a whistle, this is my exhaust.
Oh man, I didn't have to wait long haha, this is what i get for watching the last video late **EDIT** I made exactly the same mistake with the fuel lines the first swap I did xD
Did I miss a video, what shifter is it?
Cheap chinese. This year Id love to get a floor mount.
@@ManSeeksCivic I wanted a chassis mount but people suggest you only use them if you have stiffer engine and gearbox mounts, and I bought new oem. I ended up with a Z4 3.0i, it's the shortest factory throw that fits an E36.
@@SiggsGBR That's good info... I've wondered what the consequence of solid mounting would be. Z3 it must be 👍
@@ManSeeksCivic be aware shifter from Z cars sit lower, although it's not bothered me too much it's worth mentioning. They're also not curved like E36 ones but that's never been a problem for me
Nice job you did. Congrats.
Btw
What program do you use for checking ecu defects... i have an abs problem do you recommend some diagnostic tool..?
I use a combination of Ms41 quickflash, RomRaider and Megalogviewer.
I love it and congrats
Love bmw e36 king car
I need to rering my s52. Is it burning oil under heavy deceleration or anything? About to tear mine apart soon...
Good luck 🤞
Nice stuff, are you running OBD2 with Siemens MS41 ?
Yes, I use Ms41.2 software 👍.
What programs are you using becouse i wana do somthing like this to my 328
Ms41quickflash
RomRaider
Megalogviewer
Tips for bimmer men, stainless steel line is pressure line black is return.
Bravo!!
Hi. What is the source of the problem. How it was solved.
I'd done my fuel calcs wrong and it ran too lean. I use volvo injectors adjusted to match the pink tops.
@@ManSeeksCivic So everything is fine right now? I have idling problems with all the motors I make with the M50nv camshaft. Is it useful to use the M54b30 47.7 and m50nv camshaft. I doubt it
Mine idles as smooth as stock.
Every time I do water pumps stats etc I always use rtv.
The suspense is killing me, I am currently stuck into the same build. I want to see dyno results lol.
Good work tho, when it wouldnt start and you found a fuel leak on a pipe you never touched, I was shouting at the screen saying your fuel lines are on wrong.
I assume you also have a good map for it now?
were working on it - more to come in the next video
@@ManSeeksCivic when should we expect the next video mate?
@@GaragE36uk we have to film it and edit so we're looking at maybe a week. Hang tight 👍
I have a base map you can use if you want to try it.
I would love to see where its at. Send me an email on my account listed in my CZcams profile. Thank you.
@@ManSeeksCivic have sent it over
@@S3Mannn Thanks.
pamo whens the next vid coming fella?
Soon
what software are you using for remapping ecu? tuner pro?
RomRaider, Ms41 quickflash and Megalogviewer
The engine works poorly. Because Exhaust camshaft is faulty. It had to be a little steeper.
All changed now.
@@ManSeeksCivic I did the same setup today. M50b32. Inlet camshaft m54b30 47.7mm. Exhaust camshaft m50nv inlet camshaft. The M50nv camshaft corner is upright and there are no problems. M54b30 camshaft standard installation. But the position of the m50nv camshaft is very different
So now you have m50 camshafts, right?
M54 intake m50 exhaust
@@ManSeeksCivic you mean that tha vanos it's still running and it's Bosch not Siemens anymore
No man. Its using the m54b30 intake cam and the m50b25nv intake cam (as an exhaust cam). This gives bigger lift and duration on both cams. The head is still the m52 head and the dme is still Siemens.
@@ManSeeksCivic Than somebody explain to me how the fuck that engine is m50 ?? The vanos is still there , and its still Siemens not Boech
I can call my 3.0 stroker m50 because I have no vanos and before was m52b28 and now its m50b30
What do you have to say about all these people that mention the extreme unbalance? This is the first of your videos I've ever seen so sorry If i missed anything!
The engine "feels" no more unbalanced than before. If I were using it for racing and thus high revving I would have gone further to mitigate the harmonics because there is evidence that it should be considered.
@@ManSeeksCivic thanks for such a quick reply. I am likely going to build out an M50b30 from my m50tu so I am trying to gather some inputs from people such as yourself. For boost I’m considering boring out to 84mm to fix that balance issue better than crank balancing could.
Are you using an m50b20 block?
@@ManSeeksCivic nope. I’m in the US. I’m using my M50B25tu, so same deck height and bore as m52b28
So your bore is already 84mm. The b30 crank stroke is 89.6mm. Sadly boring it "square" isn't possible I don't think. Depending on what you're going to use it for you may need to think of balancing or improved harmonic damper.
0:15 🍺
How did you get the map to flash the DME? Or did you create this yourself?
Thats what i wana know if he did the map.him self and what he used
The 328 already ran on Ms41.2 usm3 software - adjusted for the 328. It now runs an adjusted m3 map (s52b30) - closer to stock usm3 mapping.
@@ManSeeksCivic could you say what software do you use?
@@fvresonanator Ms41 Quickflash (this is what I use for writing and reading to the dme)
RomRaider (to edit the dme maps and log the cars sensors)
Megalogviewer (to interpret the logs).
Hope this helps guys.
@@ManSeeksCivic Thanks for the info. I've been following your build and glad you've got it running, nice work!
How much did it cost to stroke your m50b25tu????
That's objective but the crank, rods and pistons normally sell for around £300. Then the seals gaskets and fluids all come to around £200, bearings were expensive and then there's all the little bits. It depends hugely on what you can do yourself and how you come across the parts.
@@ManSeeksCivic Thank you, I plan on buying an m54b30 whole ($300) dismantling it and using the rotating assembly. Everything else I plan on buying new but I'm thinking it'd be more cost effective to save for turbo
Some footage on a private road please? 😁
It will come...
@@ManSeeksCivic what's the 0-100 time ?
well the deck plane height is not the same for the crank and pistons, your piston heads are gona are gonna tap the valve heads.....to long for your block .you should have used 335i cams, like i did for my 97 328i m52b28 all i did was swapped the 335i intake cam to my car and moved my intake cam over to exhaust and then you got a real screamer, plus ITBS and its smoking!!! youll see detination soon and you get a bad ticking sound.......DECK PLANE man not the same DECK plane height
Sorry mate but I think you're mistaken.
There is no interference, the assembly works perfectly if used like I and many others have.
@@ManSeeksCivic youll see.......
