My patience with doing those cabinets would have had me in tears. It looks awesome! Thank you for sharing.
IT LOOKS BEAUTIFUL !!! NOW TO GET TO WORK ON MINE !!
Well done! You did a brilliant job, but if you don't mind taking advice from an old DIY pro, use heavy duty cardboard to cover cabinet fronts then cover in contact paper, less fiddling around and sleeker finish
Omg sis!! Where were you before I started this project. That is genius! I'm trying that next time. I thought about changing a few things the next time I decide to do another contact paper project. I'm thinking about doing a review video because I've learned so much from this project! Thanks for watching love!
Where can you sing the cardboard ? Do you know a video that used this method
Can you please show us how you used the cardboard?
@@beyondviewI saw a girl just a piece of poster board from Dollar tree that she used two tiny pieces of tape to hold in place and then she wrapped the cabinet.
This came out amazing! It takes patience and I’m struggling lol. Here’s a video where they use poster board/cardboard.

girl...you did that! the cabinets look painted. perfection
Ohhhh sis thank you!! This was definitely a long drawn out project, but it made the kitchen look 10x's better. Thank you so much for watching!!
Nice transformation
Beautiful
Hey! Thanks so much for this video - I'm barely dipping my toe in the water to see if I'm brave enough to try to do this. I am usually NOT a DIYer, I have no idea how to use anything 🤣 Thanks so much for this video, it's a great overview to see what the process is like and what it looks like finished. I was relieved to see you have to start over a few times on that one section - that will be me, and it was obviously not a problem to restart! Maybe I CAN do this!
You have such a cute channel and have an awesome vibe. I'll be back for more of your content!
I’m blown away! Wow! I bought contact paper for my counter tops and then I saw your video and now I know I want to do white for my kitchen cabinets. I have the type of cabinets at my house and I am definitely following your method. Thank you for this video. I’m a new subscriber and I plan to stay one. Great job!
Thank you so much!! 💕🤗 Welcome! I’d love to have you. It took some time to get the hang of it and it can be very time consuming, but it can be done! Just take your time, that’s my best advice! I hope your kitchen comes out amazing!!! ❤️
Definitely a great eye for design. I’m pretty sure once you leave your rental owners will not want you to change anything back. Price tag went up lol
Thank you!! and I hope so because I honestly don't think I'd want to take it down once we leave lol thanks for watching!
My cabinets are very similar to yours and I have been wanting to do this to mine for awhile. In have had a very hard time deciding on which contact paper would be the best and how to manage the curve in the cabinet door. By finding you and watching your video, it has given me spur I needed to give this a try. Thank you so much for posting this video. You did an amazing job!
Awesome!! Thank you so much for watching! 🤗💕
Gworlll !!! You did THAT!! I 💯🔥💕🇯🇲
Smart to break it up like this!!
Thank you! It definitely wasn’t going to get done in one day lol
Loooovvvveeeeee❤❤❤❤❤❤amazing!!!!!!!
Thank you so much!!
AMAZINGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!
Thanks boo!!!
Looks fantastic! Subscribed!😊
Thank you so much for joining!! So happy to have you 🤗💕
This was so helpful
I’m so glad it was! It can be a little tedious, but anyone can do it! 🤗💕
I definitely want to see more renovations. Btw, will the vinyl leave a sticky residue when you decide to remove it?
Yes sis, ill keep 'em coming. I have some ideas on renovating some more things in the house. So keep a lookout. And yes, I actually removed a tester vinyl in one of the bathrooms and it did leave sticky residue. Im still trying to figure out how to remove that. I'll try and update you!
If you haven't done this yet, i saw a few videos where people laid down poster board on their cabinets before laying down the contact paper. As for the residue, I've seen people using goo gone.
❤️🔥
Kitchen got face lift😂😂❤❤❤
Vinyl wrap the fridge and stove black
Great idea! We were renting the home and ended up moving a year later, but that would have looked nice!
Wow!! Looks great. Did you caulk around sink? I’m scared to do mine haha!
I also think if you add some sort of renter friendly black knobs it would make your cabinets pop!
Thank you so much!! We did end up caulking around the sink as well as filling any lines we saw where it connected on the cabinets for a smoother finish.
I agree about the knobs. It would have really added to the space!
How long did the cabinets take to complete?
This looks so good! How do you clean though? I love using bleach sprays in the kitchen. I imagine you can’t do that with the paper.
Thank you so much! I typically use non-toxic cleaning products. I’ll wipe the counters with 7th generation all purpose cleaner and other times with dish soap and vinegar. I don’t drench the area and make it completely wet, just damp enough to wipe anything up and sanitize. 💕🤗
How did you do the rounded part on the counter?
I want to know how your cabinet hold up.
It was a rental home so we only had it up for a year. It held up great! It was really easy to clean/wipe off. The only headache was taking the paper off. It took some time to remove and clean. However, it didn’t mess up the original
cabinets.
Cabinet door curve?? I watched the whole thing waiting for you to show how you tackled the curve in the doors. Nothing! What is the secret? That’s what I really wanted to see.
You’re so right, im sorry I didn’t catch that for you guys. I ended up cutting diagonally and tucking in the creases first. The areas where the paper couldn’t reach because of the curve, I ended up adding more paper and caulking the creases so it blends well. I hope that helps!
How much did it cost the contact paper and where
I purchased the contact paper from Amazon. I probably spent about $40 to redo the entire kitchen. The price varies depending on how much you need to cover. You’ll find some contact paper between $5-$30 a roll. To see the exact one I purchase, I believe I linked it in the description box. 🤗💕
Where’s your black bodysuit from?😍
It’s from Shein! 🤗 I believe I’ve done a SHEIN try on haul in that piece and there should be a link to it in the description box.
@@TieceTV thanks!!
My boyfriend and I are moving when I’m 9 months pregnant so I told him this is what he will be doing 😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂 the place needs to look top tier for baby’s arrival! Congratulations!!! 💕
How did you get the contact paper to form around the round part of the cabinet door?
Im having the most difficult time with that.
I had to do each frame by itself. Basically cutting enough vinyl to only cover one side of the frame. If you try to cover the entire cabinet in one piece, you’d probably have to use a blow dryer so that the vinyl would stretch or maybe use a box cutter knife to create slits for better formation. I hope this helps.
Tutorial on the cabinet design trimmings/edge and oh you bith did an amzaing job it looks 1000x better 🤌🏾🤌🏾
