Hermeticism is one of the key traditions of Western Esoteric Sciences, along with Jewish
Kaballah and Gnosticism.
From the Medieval alchemy and occult science of the Islamic Golden Age to the development of
science in the Renaissance and the Age of Enlightenment, up to our modern era, Hermeticism
has always lurked behind the scenes, as one of the driving philosophies behind great
intellectual breakthroughs.
Hermeticism has always played an integral role in the history of human understanding of the
nature of being.
But before we delve into the key Hermetic teachings and their insights into the nature of being,
let’s first get to know a little bit about Hermes Trismegistus, also known as Hermes the Trice
Greatest.
The ancient Arabic encyclopedia, known as Kitāb al-ʿilal or The Book of Causes, holds the
oldest known version of the Tablet. The text has allegedly survived from the Hellenistic period to
the Islamic Golden Age.
Hugo of Santalla introduced the Tablet to the West with his translation of the text from Arabic to
Latin in the Twelfth Century CE, inspiring alchemists, artists, mystics, and scholars till this day.
Anyway, enough about history. There are hundreds of sources that go in-depth. We don’t need
to do that here.
Let’s delve into what we’re here to introduce, the 7 Hermetic principles.
We advise you to read the Kybalion by the Three Initiates, which is an essential Hermetic
introductory text for a novice.

Say have you ever heard of The Quantum Hermetica? It shows that all of these principles have a grounding in modern physics. You should do a video on it.
@@JohananRaatz exactly, but I think that is the point that these ancient words are trying to get accross..although, it's still a lot more complicated than modern science has been able to wrap it's understandings around.. it's..just..hard to explain mathematically with the mainstream theories being accepted as facts and the fact that all that we've come up with so far is already so complicated and then there's the process and the politics and it's kinda hectic for something that strives for such order...can't see the forest for the trees..at least not yet anyway. But, however, the shadows amongst the green is starting to spark visual adjustments and while who knows how long that will take to become actual night vision..eventually they'll be able to see the dark matter, let's just hope all the numbers don't stay in the way for too long! The darn forest is alive with noise too! If only they can eventually stop only hearing the sound of their own thoughts reciting the mathematical gospel they're praying to, they might listen and hear the numbers as music..ugh...how the hell I'm going to figure out how to become colleagues with this lot..will be interesting to travel the path toward eventually reaching the summit of harmonious mutual enlightenment..it's going to be tedious, but worth it! I believe in them, they'll get there. They just try to prove stuff first and understand it from the proof. It should be understand first then prove later. Hopefully they set it free.. This consistently the best channel for videos like this.
You guys should look up The Quantum Hermetica. It shows parallels between all of the principles here and modern physics. Apparently it's enough to translate the entire system into physics. Some of it is interestingly quite advanced. Like believe it or not when you combine mentalism with some of the specific details described in vibration you can get back emergent spacetime from quantum entanglement, which is something that was only discovered in the last five years.
Now, if only they would realize what the entanglement is, they would also find that gravity is also emergent.
@@jeffxanders3990 They do. That is what quantum gravity is all about, emergent spacetime/gravity. You should look up that book btw. It turns out this was apparently all known about by whatever sources The Kybalion got its principles from, only curiously they date waaaaay back into antiquity.

@@jeffxanders3990 Actually they tied consciousness to the wavefunction (aka "vibrations") which I suppose would include EM phenomena. This was another correspondence with physics mentioned in the book, namely recently our own physics has started to do just that in realizing that cognition models with the Schrodinger equation (quantum cognition).

Few days ago i watched the video and i felt Unity. It lasted for just a moment until my mind realized that it lost control. And my mind forced it self back to control. It was a feeling of peace that I don't remember to feel in my life. It was so alien yet so desired. My mind is afraid to step aside, because there is no Unity when the mind is present. Hermes Trismegistus is a Greek version of the Egyptian Supreme God THOTH. Thoth is the original god of writing , the nous and the logos (the mind and the word ) The Egyptian book of the dead (ancient sacred magical texts ) proceeds the emerald tablet of Hermes Trismegistus by about three thousand years , which are more or less a transposition of the Egyptian book of the dead. Thoth is depicted as a man with the head of an ibis bird with a long beak , he holds a quill in his hand. I'm very surprised Thoth was not mentioned as he was the god the Greeks drew on to create Hermes Trismegistus.
Regarding Nietzsche , his hero was Dionysus (the Greek god of abandonment and ecstasy) who he , by his account , had a one hour conversation with Dionysus on a beach in Turin. He said Dionysus was wearing a straw hat and hermes' swimming trunks. And why not. With our five senses we hardly see anything at all of the greater reality which is hidden from us as though a veil were drawn over our eyes

WoW!!! I see similarities with the Vedic philosophies. Could you please take each Hermetic principle and try to explain it from Vedantic point of view.
I’m pretty sure the saying is, “you reap what you sow.” I didn’t want to embarrass you in front of the internet but for the sake of cutting people down to build myself up you left me no choice….you reap what you sow.
As WITHIN, so WITHOUT in today's language...we never see, hear, smell, tastes, feel anything...our eyes, ears, nose, toung, skin receives input, sends signals to the brain, which translates the message and creates the picture, smell, sound, etc in the mind. It's all a hallucination, that without still exists, every other living being still exists, still has their own unique consciousness...it's only that all we can perceive is our perception to them, what we believe, who we believe they are.

I have a strange question to ask you. After you practiced the principles for sometime, have you experience any supernormal events or ability? I mean like solid occurance of something supernormal or supernatural? I am really curious what level and energy you have harnessed from this practice. What kind of clairvoyance? I've had some premonitions, dreams of my life many years before the events actually happened, and other things like having my intuition suddenly guide me, saving my life a few times.

But what about you, I mean like solid real super-normal ability with 100% sure ability like psychokinesis or something?

Although I was once training to see if I could levitate, and definitely felt myself getting lighter with every attempt, I worried about the effect it would have on my ego and stopped, as I knew spiritual development was not about bolstering your ego, quite the opposite actually.
Anyway, it sounds like you're looking for someone who can demonstrate proof of supernormal ability?
I have since come to the conclusion, that such proof is something we should only seek within ourselves, not outside.
I also received some warning about it once, when I heard there was a reward of I think 1 million dollars somewhere? if you can demonstrate supernatural ability? - the warning was that you'd lose it instantly if you tried to use your ability to cash in on such a reward.

I just wish to know what is the actual percentage of people experiencing actual abilities after practising deep esoteric teachings for some time. Some super-abilities are like bonus incentives for the very purpose in motivating certain stages for a practitioners in order to train even harder to reach awakening of Shakti or unlocking the Kundalini energy. For me, yes I did have some small abilities in the past. I just want to know what about you, because the Kybalion principles is actually extremely powerful... Thanks 🙏

@asangoham EyE Appreciate You and this video. I read the Kyballion and I would say the best Book I have read about the 7 Principles of Thoth (Hermes is what the Greeks renamed that Deva/ Neteru/ Orisha/ "God"/Force) is a book name Ancient Future by Wayne Chandler.

The Kybalion is not a good source of Hermeticism. It's New Thought trying to pretend to be ancient Hermeticism. It's not ancient and several principles contradict themselves.
If we look at the Buddha’s teachings, we would find that the first principle is wrong because the source of everything is nothingness and not consciousness. You can find this in the Buddhist text the “Heart Sutra.” In other words, the first principle is saying that the source of everything is the intangible and the formless, while the buddha says that both forms and the formless are essentially empty and nothingness is all that remains.

Light in this context is not synonymous with positivity or darkness with negativity. They are 2 sides of the same coin. Lord Shiva, for example, is often associated with darkness, the void. In fact, Shiva in one of the definitions means "that which is not." Does it mean that Shiva is negative?
Remember 68% of the universe is comprised of Dark energy. Darkness, similar to its counterpart "light" is a vital part of existence.
+ - polarity, one is not better than the other they are just two sides of the same coin. In chemistry/physics an ion with + positive charge isn't "better" in any way than an ion with - negative charge. They attract one another and when they are together/bonded they adopt a more balanced state :)

The closest we've ever come to having a Hermes Trismegistus walking around and teaching is the remarkable teacher and mystic George Gurdjieff. He put the teachings into practise and showed others how to do the same. I discuss and share his ideas on my channel and a large amount of ears are being pricked up. This is jolly good

The Kybalion isnt hermetic. Its an new age book from the 20th century, claiming to be hermetic but has little to do with Hermeticism, to the point of claiming things that are historicly not true. The 7 principles are by that also not hermetic but kybalionistic. You will find no 7 principles in authentic ancient texts. The best source after all is still the corpus hermeticum and as a Hermetic myself, I encourage you to get your hands on it. You can also read and enjoy the Kybalion but keep in mind what it is and what it isnt.

This information sounds unfamiliar but the Indian voice over sounds trustworthy but 2:50-3:00 is sus. Trismegustus meant "three times great" because he reincarnated 3 times successfully back to back and maintained the memories. Three life times. Three cultures.
