Cruise tip for "reserved" deck chairs: If the people aren't there for apx 30 mins, take the chairs. And move their gear somewhere away from the chairs where you can see it to keep it safe. If they come back and say you took their chairs, tell them you "got it from that nice couple 10 minutes ago, I think they were Trey and Alicia. They told us to watch your stuff." Or make up other names. Or use my name.

The salad option on Serenity Deck is the BOMB! So are the Huevos Rancheros. The pho bowls rule. AND the Mongolian Wok. 👍

I just got off of the Jubilee this past Saturday. I will never go on this ship again. The food throughout the ship was mediocre at best. The balcony room I had needed to be at least a foot or two wider. Everything in the room felt cramped. The TV was to big for the room and didn't move so you could only watch it from the bed. The deck was so shallow that it was hard to arrange the two chairs and the table in a manner so that two people could be comfortable. I do agree with the review on the Serenity deck on 18. It was very nice not having a little kids around, it's 21 and older to go up there. And there were a ton of kids all over. I was surprised how many other people on the ship felt the same way. It was a common source of conversation no matter where you went. And to tell you the truth, I was surprised at how bad it was considering I had two friends take it a month ago and loved almost everything. Please watch several different reviews before booking a cruise on this ship.

This will be our first cruise as a family and my first in a lot of years. Your videos have been so helpful! Your videos are so thorough and valuable! Kendall Fire sure does know how to hype up a crowd and cruise!! She was on the Mardi Gras this past summer and was awesome. And yes, we loved the Serenity area and spent most of our sea days there...the salad drink bars were great. Glad to see a lot of what worked on the Mardi Gras transferred over. I'm loving the theming on this new ship and would't mind sailing on it. Thanks for sharing.
Almost 6,000 passengers????? I can't even imagine. I can imagine it getting a lil cramped with that many people. If ya'll didn't feel that cramped, then the cruise was well organized. Awesome video! Ya'll are Great! ! !

Chef's Table on the XL Class Carnival Ships is incredible. Comparable to a much more premium experience such as Regent, Oceana, or Azamara! It's fantastic!

The shrimp at the seafood shack has been spot on. My husband has gotten them on the Mardi Gras and the celebration
We were on the Inaugural just like you spent a lot of time on deck 8 outdoors.
Everything was right there the food the hot tubs and the Ice cream Truck.
Loved it.

I was worried Guys wasn’t there….whew. Best burger ever.
We sailed on the Jubilee the sailing after you where on. Both my husband and I LOVED this ship. Biggest thing was there was less noise than any other carnival ship we had been on. Also Kendall was amazing. Our favorite area was also the Heroes lounge area. And like you Alisa I need to be in the shade and there were plenty of places to go.

The Smores Parfait on Carnival is the best dessert I have ever had. Outstanding.

What a wonderful review!! We would love to go on this ship but in our 80’s too much walking. We were on the Magic in September and noticed the food was very good compared to some of our other cruises. Sometimes I think it depends on the ship.❤️
The last cruise we took and October I noticed the food was A LOT better. Specifically the desert. The cakes (in the MDR) were always terrible but this time they were awesome.
I miss watching your ship tours. You were my first cruise video. That was back when the twins were still young teens. I think it was out of New Orleans. I need to try Huevos Rancheros. I never had that on Carnival.

Definitely give seafood shack another try. We love it and usually hit them up at night shortly before they close. Try the Lobster rolls and crab legs.

The 1 thing that I can't stand on all 3 XL ships is the Center Stage, my family and I was on the Celebration last year and the Center Stage is just to small for everything that they got going on, people don't leave after the shows, they will sit for the next 1, they need to find a better solution for that area.

I think the pizza delivery is what slowed down service on my last cruise. All the pizza that came out of the oven were going to delivery.
Embarkation day crazy buffet crowds ruined the Disney cruise for us. We couldn’t find a seat and the kids were cranky from traveling. It offput my husband who was then in a bad mood the whole time. Where can you suggest to eat on embarkation day for lunch?
Rootbeer + Soft serve = Root beer float on a cruise!
I get the juevos rancheros every morning almost. Go get some bacon and hashbrowns from the buffet and the juevos. So good.

I hear so much good stuff about burgers onboard ships. I wish NCL would serve a decent one lol. Every cruise I have tried at least 2, and every cruise I could not eat them. When we were on the Joy, there wasnt enough staff to open the Diner. 🙄 I heard burgers were edible there but, alas they were closed all 7 days of our cruise. We are boarding the Jade on Feb. 7th. I think while we are in Tampa for 2 days, I will gobble burgers! I know I cant eat the ones from O' Sheehans l, the lido deck, or the buffet! 😂😂😂😂

Hello so glad you guys enjoyed your cruise. We will be on it February 24 2024. We have been on the celebration and loved it. So glad this ship is closer to home. We are in okc. Did you guys try emeril's? We really enjoyed it on the celebration.

Since the cruise restart we have been loyal to Royal. All the negative press surrounding Carnival has scared us a bit, as we have an impressionable teenage daughter. However, after watching this video, I have to admit I am intrigued about this ship. Never sailed from Galveston before. Two questions: 1. Harmony of the Seas or Carnival Jubilee?? 2. Hotel recommendation for Galveston pre/post cruise?
I like Big Chicken but prefer Guys Fries to BC fries, I don't like the texture and how "mushed" they are. I like a "heartier" fry. Tip if you hear others say the same thing.
Jog in the early morning or treadmill in the gym for sure. Not that we jog lol.
We noticed a BIG change on our Sept food when we did a Journey cruise. We were REALLY impressed. Totally agree they've made that change. I think that is due to Emeril being in charge of the food. That's just my personal thought.
I am sailing on March 30th
What are the rules on drinking package while in port? I just got off Princess and they said they we had to pay full charge and taxes until they got into intl waters even with the drink packages. RCL allows drinking but the alcohol has to be made in TX.
No drink packages are available the day you sail from TX so it starts on the second day. All beverages have to be individually paid for on embarkation day.
Is there a library on the Jubilee? I have not seen it on the deck plans.
I asked at customer service. They said there is not one on this ship.
Love your videos , I’m so torn between carnival jubilee and harmony of the seas same price same itinerary and my husband and I will be traveling with two boys ages 12 and 15 looking for more of a family friendly cruise the boys will not go to any of the teen clubs as they are a bit shy could you give any suggestions ?
I'm going on both of those ships this year!
I recommend have your kids do the meet and greet on the first night, and tell them no commitments required, just check it out(because everytime can be different) and you might be surprised when they make friends for life and have the best time.
However, I think there is still plenty of fun to be had on both ships without the clubs too 😊

They have videos that talk about this. Search CZcams videos. It also tells you on the cruise website when you're booking, however, that can be misleading, if you're new to this. Cruise companies make most of their $, once you're on board, in most cases. Few, are truly all inclusive.
That is tough as there are so many different variables so it’s near impossible to say definitively what a cruise will cost.

Yes we have and hit tubs vary by ship. But these are some of the largest we have seen.
We have been staying away from carnival since the fighting on the ships started happening, is that still a problem?
No issues on our sailing.
So one thing I'm very angry about personally they got rid of poker tables on all carnival cruises, Poker texas holdem is the most played game aside from slots in the world, and their craps tables went from 10 to 15.00 minimum. So frustrating.

This ship is just WAY too big. If I want Disney, I'll go to Disney World. I go on a cruise to relax, not to stay in perputual motion trying to do everything I can.
Im going on the Elation in 6 days. It has plenty of bars, plenty of food, plenty of things to do, and I dont have to walk a country mile. What could be better?
My clients no longer want to go on Carnival even though they have a high loyalty status. They are tired of the obnoxious and loud individuals, the fights onboard, the hugging chairs and passengers with no etiquette or respect towards other cruisers. ❤
too large t....so bad for the environment ....too...big for ports of call....Im from Montana its passenger capacity is more than all but a few towns....on around a thousand feet..... no ....i really enjoy your channel but would like to see smaller ships in a more sustainable form of vacationing....how about the french polynesian freighter cruise .....exploration ships....sailing cruising small ships in turkey......the adriatic.....rail travel....ferries...take the ferry from denmark to iceland via the faroes ...which i have done in winter.... .so many options....not negative...your joy in travel is charming
