At least the home computer versions of Dark Castle (CBM Amiga, etc.) give the player the option of using a mouse for aiming.

@@MynameisCharlie I know your comment response is over 2 years old, but games like this were made for PCs in mind back then. PCs had(and still have to this day) more button configurations to work with, the mouse made it easier for players to aim with the rocks, you didn't dizzy as much, and there weren't alot of delays in the control department.
Now, the reason the Genesis/Mega-Drive version didn't turn out very well was because of how limited the button layout was back then, only being released on a tiny 1 megabyte cartridge; which didn't give the developers much space to work with, and time constraints didn't give the developers a chance to properly for any bugs that needed to be fixed up before release.
The Genesis/Mega-Drive used the same motorola 68000 processor that was also present in alot of Amiga computer systems back; which is what attracted EA to it, since they had experience working with that processor in the Amiga computers back in the 80's.

Reminds me of a old myth the media was spreading around. Supposedly, Saddam was building super computers to control nukes out of PS2, and as you would expect it was not only false but also impossible considering the hardware.

That's very perceptive of you, I'm impressed, not a lot of people notice that, FluffeeTalks was the first CZcams video and channel I ever watched back in 2007, during the golden age of CZcams, after he released a FLuffees online store for the first time to support his channel, I just had to get one, right away, because he was my favorite youtuber, it came to like $50 with shipping and tax, this was all about 10 years ago, the latest ones have changed style and fonts, and his selection has increased, but back then, there were only a handful of items to choose from, I've had it for nearly 10 years now, I wear it every single day, I never go a day without wearing it, I'm emotionally attached to it. 😁👍

This was one of EA's earliest games released on the Genesis/Mega Drive after they managed to reverse engineer it in order create their own cartridges(hence the yellow tab on it). The reason they did this was to avoid paying Sega a large chunk of licensing fees per cartridge when they could just create their own at a very cheap discount so to speak. EA even tried to do the same thing with the SNES, but the advanced lockout chip made it impossible back then for them to do(It can be done now, but back then, the hacking around it wasn't as simple back then). Sega's 16-bit machine had no lockout chip; thus giving EA early access to the hardware's mechanisms. In fact EA threatened to not only release games without Sega's approval, but they also threatened to give much cheaper licenses to 3rd parties to manufacture Genesis/Mega Drive cartridges at a very cheap price, unless Sega was able to give them a more fair exclusive deal that could be manageable for both parties. Backed into a corner, Sega relented to EA's demands promising they only had to give Sega a small royalty percentage in exchange for a fairer deal. And thus, those yellow tab cartridges were born.

QuackerzCrackerz I get what you mean, he should have done more. But he is actually enjoying the episode and being entertaining. Every other reaction channel just gives a Vietnam flashback the whole video, and get money for it. Charlie at least cares about the video and tries to make it good.
