Happy New Year! I am so thankful to be alive. My Husband and I missed, by literally inches, being involved in a traffic accident, that would have killed me, had the huge S.U.V. collided with us right in my door. I know God protected us. I wish you and Desi a wonderful 2024! 2023 was not so great for me. Das was sick and passed away in November; so I am looking for 2024 to be a happier time.

I thought we wouldn't see you for New Year's and then you popped up. I was so happy. I am thinking maybe it's because everyone got so sick that you have the time and of course that's terrible but I'm certainly glad to see you in your beautiful silver sequin blouse. And I do love the red earrings with the black outfit. I would never really thought of that combo until you did it and then it was like YES! They're so beautiful and they are set off so nicely by the black lace. You and 🐶 are the most wonderful duet I've ever heard. Happy New Year, from the UK this time. I've no idea what 2024 will bring. My husband has terminal cancer and is fading fast. We are in the UK for his final weeks or months., as his family is here. Then, I have to go back to our big home and property in France, and decided what to do, as I work through the pain and loss. I know I'm one of millions of individuals who have gone through this. I'm strong, but I will feel lost without him. I'm afraid, too. Not of an harm, but just starting to navigate life alone, again, at age 73, with some limiting mobility issues. But I know I can do it. I just have to avoid physically falling down. My knees cannot take much more. Love to all these lovely ladies in this group. (And men as well---surely there are some!)
