If I'd have to guess it would have to do with current bugs in online which are accessory switching (putting on your last opponent accessories on your character), and control switching which will randomly set your controls to simple (you have to restart the game to fix this)

Spamming emotes during battle and the people who are fighting can see and hear the emotes getting spammed I would hope and imagine is one of the bugs that needs fixing

I dont think it was there the whole time. If so modders would have found it before. They announced the january patch would add lobbies and this video came about in January so. Im assuming it was recently added

There has been no updates. The mode was there the whole time. The whole mode was locked with a single boolean.
They announced the dlc but the custom lobby section says, it'll be implemented "soon" they didn't say that is with this dlc

Of course it was there in the code since day one.. this game is just a reskin of storm 4 with gameplay changes. I always thought that they had these features disabled for some reason.

Regadless if it's an arena fighter, platform fighter or traditional fighter it should be a standard to have custom matchmaking. @@minato_namikaze160 the hole casual matchmaking system is bugged as hell as the modders said its not worth making it public the modders just wanted to show us that the hole system is already in the game not to make it playable to everyone besides the system will come out by the end of the month so aproxemetly 10/15 days later so just have a little more patience
