A police officer once told me that they have to be seen to be protecting sex offenders, however much they hate them. They need to shift their focus and protect victims and potential victims. The £31 million that has been allocated to protect MP's should be diverted to extra police and outreach workers in areas where vulnerable young girls are at risk.

Yes they have introduced a system in some places where criminals don't have to pay for bail. They're just set free to roam, escape, commit more crimes with no enforced surveillance until it's decided if there will even be any court action. Too many are never taken to court.
