- Welcome to an Impossible challenge! Can I The Spiffing brit become a millionaire in 5 days starting with effectively nothing. Today I will be playing as elon musk in this business tycoon game where the goal is simple. Climb up the corporate ladder on a rags to riches journey where the goal is simple become a millionaire and overtake @Sips and @Northernlion on their slow journeys to scraping a living. So its time for elon musk to attempt to make back some of the loss he made from his purchase of twitter with some good old fashion video game exploits!

The idea of your uncle loaning you $10k, a pretty significant sum of money, to get you started in his footsteps as a business mogul, but you just immediately go hibernate on a bench until a casino boat shows up, and come out of it with more money than your uncle.. that's absolutely hilarious.

If I remember correctly, the only thing being hungry does is that you get tired more quickly, and when you run out of energy you walk more slowly.

A clear indicator of the game's quality when the best way Spiff can find to break it is just save scumming.

In his defense, a lot of people simply don't have the focus to do this for a couple hours.
However, games with gambling have had anti-scum methods for years. New Vegas would have a cooldown and shut off the casino games after a reload. Not that you needed it with a high luck build. Even then, the casinos will just kick you out if you win too much.

I can picture the casino pitboss slowly losing his mind as Spiff just keeps winning.
They switch the decks, do periodic shuffles, rig the odds, nothing is working. This starving man walked onto their ship smelly and alone, and walked away with their entire cash reserve, leaving the owner a weeping mess as the "luckiest" man in the universe just ruined him.

When you got that 90 million dollar megayacht, I thought, "Well, at least you'll finally have a place with a bedroom and a kitchen." In-game uses for 90 million dollar ship: "Relax."
Car = bed. Super yacht = bigger bed. :P
Pro gamble tips: You should take max loans before boarding ship. Secondly, just exit game if you lose. Don't go to main menu. The game loads quicker than the time it takes to "unload". The last tip is abuse the pause mechanic. Pause right after clicking the dealer. You can place bet and get your cards while paused. Then unpause and you suddenly have your cards. You should be able to get many more games in per night this way.

Most games overite the saves when you gamble to prevent this. Call it what you want, but if it's patched/blocked in a lot of others it's close enough to a legit glitch.

Spiff's entire strategy is save scumming 😂😂 I remember Red Dead fixed this by immediately saving over your game when you play cards. Haha totally a feature, not an exploit
Counterplay find the save file copy it elsewhere and overwrite the save when losing.

There's a similar exploit that I call "start new game". All you need is a gun and a single bullet!
The quick save is those little packets they give you that say do not eat. Pop one in and you're good to go. Down another and you'll reload.

Northernlion at least utilized the sleep on the bench strategy when he played his second character. He realized how efficient it is.
it's efficient because the game isn't simulating freezing to death, waking up in extreme discomfort and pain, getting robbed, getting stabbed by some druggie who shouts "that's my bench!", getting woken up by police and told to go home or else you'll get a fine etc
So you have millions and yet you survive on tea and croissants?...perfectly balanced indeed. You have a super yacht and bread. What more does one need to enjoy life?

I love all of the commentary thrown into this one. What a better way to become a millionaire than to start with a decent chunk of money, and if you lose it, just go back and try again until you win. This is exactly the kind of thing you can do when your parents are themselves millionaires.

I did exactly this, and the method has just one tiny problem: your net value does not increase with the money you earn from casinos. That's actually part of the game and by the end of your life in this game, this actually matters. You should have used that money to buy all the buildings and increase the rent to maximum.
That's a good exploit.

To be fair, our character needs only 8$ per day to be alive, and a sleeping place that just so happens to come in the form of a free car the uncle gives.
TBH save scumming is such an obvious tactic... I hoped for something more interesting when I clicked the video.
I started playing because of a RCE video. Quite like the game. I managed to monopolize on being the only clothes seller. It gets me about 30-50k every day if I manage to keep it stocked lol.

20:30 I'll have you know that at day 40, earning 3 million per day is very doable. On my main save, I earned 100 million in the first 60 days (on day 60 you get the tax bill so you always have the documentation of your overall gains at that point). It's easy to get even more, but tedious and not really necessary.
But 150k is easy from day 8 onwards. In fact a single solid shop that you can set up around that time will get you 300k per day.
I don't think save scumming is on the same level as your usual exploits.

Just to bring some attention: this game is based on "Nobody: The Turnaround", a game which you are a poor man in china and you need to work you ass out to pay loan sharks so they will let your sister alone. The game shows themes about poverty, depression, some days you will sleep on the streets, stay hungry, not have any fun because you need to hurry up to work or study.. it shows a very dark side of China and i could actually see it in my country as well.
Turns out, the game was removed from sales hours after its launch. Some say the devs abandoned the game, but it does have some pretty solid gameplay mechanics, a full campaign, sandbox mode, cool music, nice story, it just doesn't make sense. Their social media also went down, people started saying that the chinese government took the project down because of how it presents the country.
I recommend it to anyone who wants to play a mature story, i think it still on sale on one of those steam key websites

Spif, you can definitely make over 150k per day off businesses by day 41 legitimately. In my current save I’m at $450-750k per day at day 40. That depends on the day of the week because the trick is opening clothing stores. They’re ridiculously profitable. Especially on the weekends when they make the 750k. And if you think that’s just because I must have tons of stores and spent so much time making them, no. That’s just with 2 stores. 75 capacity stores in midtown.

Spiff I'm surprised, you missed a chance to get another exploit. Every seven days you could cash out your stocks and double your money a few more times. Probably gonna hit an integer overflow at some point though.
I can't tell if this is a tutorial on save scumming or a video essay on the lack of gambling regulations, but I love it either way!
Had to rewind three times because my blazed behind kept making tea whenever Spiff talked about tea, forgetting the video and just enjoy my tea for 15-20 minutes, it has been an hour so far
If I was a developer, I would disable saving in the gamble boat.

I've loved this series and channel for a long time now but I now find myself wondering what happened? Is this what perfectly balanced is now just save scumming? I still rewatch some of the older videos from time to time and still love the exploits and glitches that are showcased but is it all downhill from here? I dunno maybe I've changed but this just doesn't seem like the Spiff we all know and love but I'd like him back please.

There's ways to make much, *much* more money much, *much* faster (in-game) than investments in this game, that's just a place to store your excess cash. Get a loan, spend it all on very large clothing stores, and you'll be making millions per day from those stores.
(Of course, that requires you to actually play the game...)

Spiff I think you've hit the point to where we'll watch a stream even without you in full character. Really enjoyed seeing you play magic the gathering
While this is a hilarious method to exploit this game, it actually isn't very hard to make 200k-500k per day with normal gameplay. Sadly, the issue is that you are comparing the profits of Streamers which have a bad habit of not reading and therefore sucking at the games they play lol. The biggest mistake I have seen people make is that they listen to their uncle and expand to a fast-food business (the worst business to make money with) WAY too soon. If you instead collapse that objective menu for a while and expand your gift shop to it's maximum potential, you can easily get 20k per day with that business alone. Use that to save up the capital to get an HQ and warehouse and get importing and deliveries setup. Then onto a clothing store in the rich district to multiply your income by ten-fold. But I digress, I do love watching you break games.

Moral of the story : gambling is completely fine so long as you have complete control over the laws of time and can start savescumming until you’re rich.

I remember cybermage(dos game) forcing you to wait a minute or so after loading before you could interact with slot machines or whatever the gambling on that game was. Made this process a bit slower.
