The Riddler was the biggest pain in the arse in all 4 games.
I think that's his point?
The_Unkown_FortniteAndMinecraft knight trophies were fun in my opinion
Yeah it takes forever but you don’t fight him in arkham asylum
Arkham asylum it's not as worse as some of you think you have maps to help you find them which makes it a lot easier than having to find his damn henchman who are scattered around the map and interrogate them
He is shite

"Trust me, this guy's IQ is through the roof. You wanna catch the Dark Knight you need to be smart. And Nigma's smarter than all of you put together."
"If he's so smart, how come the Bat's still out there?"
Nuff' said!
If he's so smart, why there's not nigma 2?
A detail I love about Riddler in the Arkham Games is the fact he takes less and less care of himself, and focuses on his desperation to outsmart, humiliate, or kill Batman.
In Arkham Origins, before he even became known as the Riddler, you can see he's very clean, well-managed, and hasn't developed his desperation to humiliate Batman.
In Arkham Asylum, in the artwork of him (since he physically doesn't show up), he switches out his vest and collared shirt for his iconic green suit, bowler hat, and cane, and even then he still looks like he manages himself nicely, while still focusing on trying to outsmart Batman, before you hear him get arrested in the end.
In Arkham City, he goes so far as to kidnap medical officers to try and lure Batman into his elaborate puzzles, and threatens to kill them if Batman doesn't manage to solve them, and keeps the rest of them hostage and walking for hours unless they want their heads to explode. He still wears his iconic suit and bowler hat, but you can clearly tell he hasn't washed his clothes or even bathed (but that's probably because Arkham City doesn't have running water for its inmates).
Lastly, in Arkham Knight, you can finally see he no longer takes care of himself or even dresses formally like he used to - looking more like the kind of guy who lives in a cheap apartment, and wears a tank top, green shirt, and cargo pants. And you can see he's finally become so desperate to prove himself smarter than Batman that that's all he focuses on by that point, and doesn't take care of himself even more, and is more likely to snap. He even goes so far as to cheat, but doesn't live up to it because he wants to desperately prove he's superior to the caped crusader. And even that cop Riddler Informant at GCPD has taken pity on him because he saw just how desperate he was and wouldn't shut up about how he lost to Batman.
Just goes to show how narcissistic he is, and just can't accept he won't always be the smartest guy in the room.
actually it goes deeper than just that. Riddler admits in his interview in Arkham Asylum that his father beat him because he was convinced he'd cheated in a contest and that it was the only way for him to win. Riddler admits that he did. growing up with a father that never stopped calling him an idiot and a cheater severely warped Riddler's mind to the point he was convinced that Batman was a fraud and a cheat. which compelled him to challenge him back in Origins.
he couldn't imagine that anyone smart enough to beat him could do it without cheating. which is where his obsession started. he NEEDED to prove that Batman was a cheat. because otherwise it meant that there was someone out there that was smarter than him. it's also why he cheats when it comes to riddles because he CAN'T allow someone to outsmart him.
his deteriorating appearance just shows how completely consumed he's become by his need to outsmart Batman he's neglecting basic hygiene to devote more time to making a puzzle Batman CAN'T solve.

@@TheMeta141 i always took it as Batman broke Riddler, in Origins Riddler is being fairly reasonable and is just trying to inhertnetly do a good thing, but Batman won't stop bothering him even though there's tons of worse villains out, and Riddler eventually can't take it anymore, begging Batman to leave him alone, but Batman doesn't let up, so then Riddler loses it and fully goes from "Nigma" to "Riddler"
He still looks better than Barbara and most female characters from games.

Riddler: NO I WAS ON TIMES OUT!!!
That awkward moment when you realize that Riddler resisted a lot of punches by Batman and Cat but Deathstroke got K.O with just one hit.
I think Batman put more force into the punch with Slade.
You know what's even more ironic?
Harley Quinn, Two-Face, Penguin, Azrael, and some other villains looks like they got the strength. The Riddler has no strength and he looks like a wimp.
But when you engage combat, these bastards gets T.K.O'd by Batman with "one hit". And the Riddler however, doesn't get wasted by one punch, not even two or three, making all the other villains look like wimps while the Riddler is looking as tough as a brute. Either they are not discriminating wacky villains or this is "Elephant v.s Mouse"
@@Samuel152
And why not put that same strength with Riddler? He's riding a fucking mechanical suit that's able to crush him or Catwoman ._.
The only way that would make sense is that:
1: Batman launched himself at Deathstroke like a bullet.
2: Batman didn't pull his punch on Deathstroke because he can take it.
@@hellstrom4209 Like I stated, Batman simply put more effort into the punch with Slade.
Catwoman : Don't keep me waiting
Players who will ignore the riddler's challenges and trophies: yeah...about that
You mean "Players who don't understand that most side quests give you *FREE* WayneTech points" , and in Nigma's case, you get them after having fun with a nice challenge to balance out the fact you get *2* points per trial you complete. And collecting all 243 Riddles and punching the crap out of Nigma and locking him up to achieve the true ending is a challenge worth taking on, and a result that is *ULTIMATELY* satisfying.

I swear, there's NOTHING better than hearing the Riddler flip out like a child when you defeat him. It's nearly orgasmic.

When Riddler screamed "Die, Father!", it was actually a hint of his origins. Raised by an abusive father who constantly belittled his intelligence, Edward Nashton dedicated himself to learning in an effort to win respect from everyone, especially his father. In order to win a school puzzle competition, Edward broke into school and practiced with the puzzle until he understood it. When his father found out about this, he gave Edward a fierce beating, calling his son a cheater and a liar. These psychological issues have obviously lasted well into adulthood.
Personally, I would have congratulated a child's desire to learn. That's not something you find in most children these days.
rcldragon Cool origin story. Doesn't excuse the fact he is a little bitch with an ego three miles wide and no respect for human life though.
rcldragon I thought he cheated rather than worked hard at the puzzle until he understood it.
rcldragon Wow thanks for sharing.I thought he said that cause he knew deep down batman was his superior lol
videogamenostalgia In a sense, he cheated because he broke into the school and worked on the puzzle when none of the contestants were supposed to even look at it. However, I would have personally congratulated Edward's desire to learn while gently reminding him of the necessity of fair play. To me, the desire to learn is much more important because there are plenty of people in the world today who refuse to learn even from their own mistakes because such people hate disruptions to their social patterns in life.
gcircle That's partly due to his upbringing and partly due to the choices he has made in life. It's a pity really. Were it not for his ego and obsessions, Edward would have been someone who could have made the world a better place. To me, the Riddler is actually one of the more likeable people among Batman's Rogues' Gallery compared to the Penguin, Two-Face, Deacon Blackfire and Firefly.
I love how Batman knocks down the gates to the orphanage and then smashes into the staircase every time. Riddler must carefully rehang the gates and re-point the brickwork every time Bats drives off.
You can just tell, Wally Wingert had the absolute time of life, voicing the Riddler in this game. I would literally pay money just to see his actions from inside the recording booth, while making this game.

Batman was shutting down thots before it became popular
When I hear Joker's thoughts on Catwoman, I can't help but remember one important thing: this Joker is a product of Batman's subconscious,Joker's mutated blood, and some Fear Gas in his body. Which means that at some point these thoughts about Catwoman being emotionally vulnerable and Talia Al Ghul sleeping with Joker in Hell have passed through Bruce Wayne's mind...
***** Actually, no. These are Joker's memories, hence why Bruce saw Killing joke, despite him not being there, seeing Jason's torture,
EDIT:This is a theory that I have, don't take my word for it, but this is what I thought.
SingXongDong
Bruce textually says that there was a video where he saw Jason die.
The Joker is an hallucination triggered by the Fear Toxin. Batman's disease is a completely different thing; that is a prionic disease (textually said by Robin), like the mad cow disease, which degenerates the subjects' minds until they become *like* the Joker.
They. Are. *NOT.* The. Joker.
I know that, which is why I'm referring to the scenes where Joker has Jason tied up and hanged, when he says that Jason has been replaced as Robin.
SingXongDong but Joker-Bruce's retelling wasn't 100% accurate, it was what he heard or thinks happened. Some of it is Joker and some of it is Bruce. It's both
No. Joker is not real.
The disease is turning Batman into A Joker, not THE Joker. Big difference. There are no memories of Joker involved, it is all in Batman's mind.
You cannot have another's memories. It is as simple as that. Joker's brain does not exist. No neurons. Nothing about him remains.
And you honestly think he doesn't know about what happened to Barbara? Theat neither she or Gordon told him? Please! Do you really think Joker didn't show him everything?
Catwoman and Batman’s final moment together is so emotional. Rocksteady are amazing.

When I started the game, finishing Riddler was the 1st thing I wanted to get out of the way as soon as possible. Out of all the villains, Riddler has got to the most irritating
And the most time consuming as well.
1:17:32
Riddler: "DIE, FATHER!!! I mean, uh...Batman!"
....XD
Does riddler refer Batman as his father?
Ty Edwards he got abused by his father since he was young so it the same with batman beat the shit out of him
A victim stuck with an unresolved past.
LOL 😂
@@MrFBI-xi3ic seems like Eddie has daddy issues.
I love how he keeps smashing the same railing with the Batmobile. I imagine some repair guy constantly fixing it, only to watch it get smashed again seconds later and slowly lose it out of frustration.
Anarky17 that’s the origin of Railman, Batman’s true nemesis.
Coming back to this, I realize that it’s basically a Three Stooges joke. In the Stooges short "Men in Black", they had a running gag where Curly kept accidentally smashing the glass on the hospital director’s office door, sometimes immediately after the repair guy had just finished replacing it. That’s what I imagine BAV was doing with that railing.
So THATS how the Joker was really made
I love hearing him getting more and more desperate before snapping
Bro, the work you put into these guides is always gonna be super honorable in my eyes. I'm on the Switch, so I've managed to complete all the riddles save for the bugged out two - and it's almost totally thanks to these videos.
Mad respect man. Thank you so much.
Catwoman: Call if you need me.
Batman: I won’t.
Catwoman: I know. I just wanted to say it.
🥺
Stop

That was the best line in this whole video, and Riddler had some amazing lines.
I wonder if there’s was restrooms in the orphanage during Catwoman’s stay.
HA thats funny
Honestly, as much as I hated Riddler’s shenanigans I grew to acknowledge it. Also, I think Batmobile’s secret to maneuvering is the use of breaks. Initially hated it but now I’m liking it more and more.
Also, I think the 243 trophies are just fine considering this is 3 times bigger than Arkham City. But I don’t deny how annoyed I was at first. Riddler probably teaches you something pretty important: Patience. Duh. 😅

I'm actually surprised that this guy did all the missions before completing the actual story...me who misses Joker who followed me everywhere even tho he did get on my nerves at some moments...🥺
After collecting all 243 Riddler trophies I really wanted to violate Batman’s no kill rule.
Same!
I actually loved when Batman finally got to kiss Catwoman like finally bro should have done that in Arkham City but he was with or hooked up on Talia at the time
Batman and Catwoman kiss in The Dark Knight Rises which I actually felt like a conclusion to the Nolan's trilogy.
@@abramsullivan7764 It's like poetry it rhymes
Kind of like Riddler's portrayal in this game the most out of the Arkham Games. Just his reactions are like a temper tantrum throwing child
Ha! I could have brought me here twice as fast!
the man has a mindeset of an actual child
this was perfect, thanks for the hours spent to deliver us
"It can be cruel, poetic or blind... but when it's denied it's your violence you may find." -The Riddler
The answer is justice.
This Riddler has to be my Top version of Riddler. The actor put alot into making him what and who he was. And he has some of the best dialogue in the game
Cubot’s voice actor, Wally Wingert.
He's annoying af though

God, the attention to detail in this game gets better and better every time! Even the water collected from the rain on Batman's cape as he glides through the city looks real
unreal engine 4 was the engine they chose for this game if you are wondering arkham asylum and city used unreal engine 3this is how next gen games should look like im looking at u EA
chase eanes actually i think arkham knight ran on unreal engine 3. Return to arkham was the first one to use unreal engine 4.
Mr. Handel-Bar Yeah, apart from PC Version the delays were really worth it
There was a guy who spent 2 years on the bats cape
@@somalipiratewhosactuallyso5910 I always bring that up with someone about these games. I will gladly shake that man's hand if I meet him.

On condemned you're a lifesaver I was boosting too much and not taking my time causing me to fly off the track. TYSM!!!❤❤
As much as I love Jim Carrey's Riddler and Cory Michael Smith's Riddler, this guy is my personal favourite. He is dark, serious and the perfect match for the dark knight. I hope Cory's Riddler will turn into something like this because this Riddler is awesome!
From Gotham so far, I think Cory could easily flip into this type of riddler quite easily
Grey Ghost 615 Eh, I kinda like this look. Makes Eddie look like a mad scientist
Can anyone imagine David Tennant as the Riddler?
Nicolas Charron he’d be an awesome Riddler
I'm gonna cosplay as the Riddler at my next con and i can tell ya I'm gonna have a hell of a good time acting as him.

Selina’s got some marvelous zingers. “Well, you are getting older. Maybe it’s time to add a few more notches to the utility belt.”
I also love the sound effects.
I loved these missions and working as a duo as Batman and Catwoman is amazing
