I find it incredibly sad that they didn't win, not so much because they were so talented, but because they were so special. They had something really new and innovative, but the guy who won was just a singer, that's just really sad, to see something so simple, win over something this innovative

The irony is that America's Got Talent was created specifically to incorporate a wider variety of talent, as opposed to its spiritual predecessor, American Idol, which was solely a singing competition. And yet, the majority of the show's winners, especially in the earlier seasons, are all singers.

Fighting Gravity is how I found out about The Glitch Mob, particularly Animus Vox performance, and then I got more into their music, and later watched the rest of Fighting Gravity performaces and fell even more in love with those guys when I realized that they used The Glitch Mob for most of their shows. They deserved to win, it's easy to sing when you have talent, but this takes a lot of hard work, especially because they're large group, it takes a lot of coordination to do this.
Me too! And Drink the Sea was at the time just released! Id love to see some new Fighting Gravity performances with the newer Glitch Mob songs. Imagine Our Demons or Go Light with a Fighting Gravity performance. Amazing.

Some time ago I read for the prize winner there's only one hotel room setup for the "Vegas Act." Which is why solo-like acts wins. There is slight rigging. The only techincal "not solo" act to win was Olate Dogs. My only hope is that large amazing groups like Fighting Gravity and Team iLuminate get amazing deals and aren't shoved to the side. Last note, I am so happy Micahel Grimm beat Jackie Evancho.
Maddie Grace I would have rather watched or listened to anything than that 10 year old and I would not listen to her now, her technique in singing is really bad and whether she was good she has ruined her voice because of it , she may have some success but you will see a big change. Michael Grimm was a blues and soul singer and if Pierce didn't point out there mistake, the top 2 would have been Fighting gravity and Michael Grimm.

7:34 is great for sooo many reasons: - It was unexpected. - Being able to move that smoothly upside down (even if you are being held up) - The top couldn't see the bottom so everyone had to be in-sync, both timing and position, or else it just wouldn't look right - It was cool from a storytelling perspective Crazy to believe this was 10 years ago and there still hasn't been an act to top the creativity and overall style of this group. Others have tried to do something similar but they never lived up to this. Did they have some flubs? Yeah. But at the end of the day it was still really sick.
I remember seeing these guys years ago, thinking THIS is vastly different than what normally shows up on the show. Although the idea of a black light performance wasn't new, these guys blew the concept into Jovian orbit. They need to get booked in Las Vegas again.

I LOVE these guys. So amazing! In the audition, the guy in the vest and hat reminds me of the phantom of the opera. So cool. The music does play a big part, though. Without it, it's generally boring. Again, I love them, and all of it! So great!!
