20 Min POST-WORKOUT STRETCH for Injury Prevention & Flexibility

  • Join me for a 20-minute full body post-workout yin yoga stretch to help improve your flexibility. This class is perfect for athletes who want to release muscle tension and boost recovery and beginners who might have tight hamstrings and would like to open up the body.

    We’ll begin with a set of mobilization exercises to prepare the body for deep stretching, followed by chest and shoulder openers. We'll then finish by opening the hip flexors to improve flexibility and mobility in the lower back, legs, and groins.
    Practice at home, at the gym or outdoors, no equipment is needed. What will the audience get out of the video? Feel refreshed, re-balanced, and light by the end of the practice.

    I always appreciate your reminders on alignment. Keeping ribs in is sometimes forgotten in the poses. Also learned today the quad stretch in side plank. I’ve never been able to do in the lunge as my foot will not come up. Easily did it in side plank. Thank you. This was very relaxing.

    Thank you Tim! I work in the events industry and had a major event 2 days ago that required a great amount of lifting and walking. I am so sore and exhausted but this video helped me feel more energized and much less sore. I think it’s definitely time to sign up for the CMC! Namaste 🕉️

    The transitions between these slow movements are beautiful. Just watching the smooth shifting from one position to the next is remarkably relaxing. More importantly, all of this is an inspiration to do it soon. (I'm at my work desk right now,. I needed to watch something like this to relieve my static sitting.)     I’m no athlete… and I love these stretches. I did them at a slightly faster pace as a start-my-day warmup before doing a CMC yoga class, just for a change. Thank you.

    I have started a "Hal" training routine to prepare for the Vermont 100 on Route 100 in August.
    I found that I am quite sore with all of the miles and your "runner's stretch" yoga videos are helping tremendously.
    Thank you for being the constant in a world of chaos.
    I can't be trusted to perform a yoga routine every day, but you can. This is why my family have followed you for the last 9 years.

    Different bodies...the balancing lunge thigh stretch is MUCH easier for me than the kneeling version!
