With the explosion of the Laney IRF-LOUDPEDAL, here is a look at how to use it with Yo the Japanese Shred Master and Jason our Artist Relations Manager. Yo & Jason show you the sound of the built-in 60 Watt Amp, the FX Loop, the Emulation DI tone, DI (Emulation Off) into the Torpedo Captor X and Two notes' Torpedo Remote using our very own Laney TI412 DynIR.

▶ Two Notes Torpedo Captor X: www.two-notes.com/en/torpedo-...
▶ Two Notes Wall Of Sound: www.two-notes.com/en/torpedo-...
The sounds are direct Loudspeaker Out on the pedal to a Laney GS412VR Cab recorded through a CAD Audio D90 Mic into a Zoom LiveTrak L-8 Mixer/Recorder with NO EQ added on the end. It’s raw and sounds THAT GOOD!!!!
The Two Notes tone is from the Loudspeaker Out on the Laney LOUDPEDAL into a Two Notes Torpedo Captor X using the “Wall Of Sound” and the Laney TI412S IR Cab. Again, NO additional post EQ added.

Finally a comprehensive demo ... other reviewers should watch this
To be fair, they made reviews. This video was more about education on what the LOUDPEDAL actually does. Glenn Fricker from Spectra Sound Studios knocked it out of the park with his video. Have a look if you haven't already seen it.

@@LaneyAmplification thanks I'm officially a Laney amps fan
Whenever I say "YO!" to something out of excitement, this is EXACTLY what plays in my head.
Thanks for making this demo, choosing Yo Onityan was amazing, his playing style makes the pedal shine, I'm sold getting mine next month.
I picked one of these up last year and I haven’t looked back since. Works great with all my guitars and no need for extra distortion pedals.
Got mine over the weekend and I’m just blown away by how versatile it is! Love it through my LA412! 🤘🏻
Wall of Sound is the best plugin I've ever bought hands down. It really made me realise how important the cabs are, vs pickup or amp head. With the right speaker you can pretty much get most sounds out of any gear.
Also about this amp - I may buy one. I have a DSM simplifier which I love, but that's more of a recording thing than rehearsal thing due to the amount of knobs it has. This Laney seems like I can throw it in my bag, hook it up at the rehearsal and then hit the ground running.
I can't wait to try this out!
Amazing!!
That guitar looks fire!
sounds sick!
Love it thanks
I wish I could buy one straight away
Thanks
The more i see this pedal, the more i want one
You’ll never go wrong using a Laney! ❤️
I'm getting one for guitar and it can't get here fast enough!
PLEASE MAKE ONE FOR BASS! Seriously, I beg you! I'll pre-order that one, too.
Being able to fly to different countries with one of these in the case and just plug in is just awesome.
Yo is awesome ❤🔥
I didn’t think that a mortal kombat fighter could play the guitar like that!)
I love this type of content. Thus is such a great pedal and the fact thats ultra portable. The real question is when's the last time you carried a 100 W head while walking over a bridge? Oh and at night.keep it going my dude!!!!!
Thank you kind sir 🤘
I'd love to see this in "standard" amp format. Like a solid-state version of the IRT15H. That would be nice
Woah, I've seen a few videos of the Ironheart and now I can't wait for pay day! Would this also work for bass guitar, or is there a bass guitar version?
It's also nice to see my boy, Stephen Platt from Collibus/Damagescape/Devin Townsend getting recognition with you. He's a phenomonal player!
Did you get one? For Bass though, while it's designed for Guitar, in theory you could use it for Bass. However you would need a Bass Cab with an 8ohms impedance as the LoudPedal won't handle going down to 4ohms. Something to keep in mind. And yes, Stephen Platt is awesome.
Great video could you use it 4cable method with an hx stomp
This dude REALLY shreds wtf is he
A human shred-bot made in Japan.
@@DizzyKrissi does he have a CZcams channel
@@damonstewart70 : yes - just look for "Yo_onityan"
He is one of the best Japan guitar players, to be honest I really like his playing style very fast and clean but agressive and yet still melodic.
Hello... Can anyone tell me whether I can play backing tracks through the speakers when I use the AUX IN please? Thanks!
Getting more and more sold on one of these every time I see them. It might be time to retire my first gen IRT60 head and modernise a little.
For me it’s almost a dream amp. But why no MIDI??? It would be perfect to integrate with the huge amount of digital stuffs/multifx which are populating everybody’s pedalboard.
If you tell me how can I get my lead tone with delay, reverb etc with the press of one footswitch, I will buy it suddenly.
can this be connected to frfr speaker?
Playing through the Laney Lodpedal are you able to get controlled feedback even at lower levels as in you want to sustain a note?
Just as you would any other amp really. The Volume and Gain will make a difference. It does vary from Amp to Amp and of course the distance between the connected Speaker Cab and your Guitar.
Great if it could be muff in channel 1, super fuzz in channel 2, and the boost was a rat type dist, with trim pot for tone.....That would be a great amp for fuzzheads
The idea in principle is good, but the sounds are not, at least not for me. Returned mine after two weeks, as I hardly could adjust any usable sounds, which not sounded to sharp and too shrill or too muddy and dull or both at once.
Obviously the technicians and product managers at Laney have a very strange idea about gret amp sounds, which does not at all match my own ones.
Is there an internal noise-gate?
Nope, you’d need to put one either in the fx loop or in front
Sadly we couldn't squeeze one in there. However as Alessandro said, using one in the FX loop will most certainly do the job.
@@LaneyAmplification : I owned an IRT Studio - nice amp - and love small amps like the Quilter's. Suggestion: add a nice digital reverb (superblock reverb's are awesome) and a noise gate and this thing would be a nobrainer. Tonewise this thing sure sounds great. I also own a hotone Britwind - the concept is perfect but the sound lackluster.
Now. If you could just find one music store actually selling them.
If Marshall did this with an 800 I’d buy it.
Don't be a brand snob!
