Gurl Drag Race Thailand S1 was probably one of the best seasons of DR full stop. It was very S3 (it saved many of us from the travesty of AS3)

Rpdr thailand took me back to a more revamped s1 from the us.
Ehhh. I think it was certainly better than many seasons of RPDR. But better than S4-S6? No.
Also, there are pros and cons. I can't stand the screaming and shouting during the runway scenes. On the other hand, 3-way lip syncs and crazy up-close camera angles during LSFYL needs to be a thing on RPDR since yesterday.

i actually followed the whole first season of TDR and gotta agree that comparing these 2 shows are very irrelevant because Thai Drag is more culturally infused in its own unique way. And you have to watch their season without any RPDR expectation. if not, you'll be disappointed and disinterested. RPDR is more than 1 decade old and they have evolved and improved very much whereas TDR is pretty much a baby in the industry.
