Cette musique....Les mots me manquent.
Je viens de me faire plaisir. Tv Oled LG55C2 et Samung Harman Kardon HWQ90R...Et évidemment cette magnifique trilogie que je vais redécouvrir.
D'autant que le 3e episode a été remonté avec une autre fins. J'ai hâte de la découvrir. Dans ma tete résonne encore le (fabuleux) cri d'Al Pacino sur les marche de l'opéra. Et l'image de fin avec le chien et l'orange qui tombe...Je veux pas spoiler pour ceux qui ne connaitrait pas ce chef d'œuvre ultime (les plus jeune notamment), mais que j'ai hâte.
Pour ceux qui n'ont jamais vu cette trilogie, c'est a mon sens LE chef d'œuvre. Dur de ce dire qu'on est pas prêt de revoir des films de cette trempe.
J'adore la vision de Scorsese sur la mafia, Notamment dans "Les affranchis" ou "Casino" qui sont aussi 2 chefs d'oeuvre. Mais Le Parrain les domine tous. Tout est culte dans ce film, et dans le 2 la scène avec le parrain local bidon, très caricatural avec son costume blanc, et surtout la fameuse scène de sa "chute" pendant le carnaval, avec l'inoubliable musique de Nino Rota...

Excellent work as always! Seen The Godfather many times on TV and DVD, always grainy and muddy. The 4K looks awesome. Looks like a lower generation. The gain pattern is much finer and tighter than on previous releases and there is more fine detail. Also looks like a LOT of digital tweaking has been done to manage colors, contrast and especially film grain. Definitely by far the very best image I have ever seen of this iconic movie.
