  • In Episode 20 Bugsy takes us fishing with lures from a kayak underneath Sydney's cliffs in NSW Australia for snapper, bonito, Australian salmon and Mack tuna on a sunny morning. Bugsy uses a range of lures from 5 inch soft plastic jerk shads to bibbed minnows. Bugsy is using a Hobie Revolution 13 kayak to quietly stealth around the reef edges. Fortunately, Sydney has some premier fishing right on the door step of the country's largest city. Enjoy!

Enjoying the videos mate. Thanks for sharing. The sidekicks will give you some extra security at that spot - lots of wave deflection off the cliffs down there. Watch the stainless retention pins on the sidekicks- they have a habit of coming out for no apparent reason now and then, and the float will come off. If you think that you've still got it on and lean to get something, you could roll. Still definitely worth having them on though. Keep the vids coming Bugsy.

Thank you and for the tips too. I'll watch those pins. Yeah, the backwash made me a little seasick. Cheers mate!

Hi Les, I don't name the spots I fish. I launch from the ocean beaches in the calm corners. Gives me access to inshore reefs

Is it dangerous sitting in that zone close to the rocks?

Perhaps equivalent to a double black diamond run in skiing requiring decades of experience and a high skill level. I'm sitting in deep enough water to be safe at all times but it requires the utmost diligence
