What is your Favorite Pokeball ?
Friend ball
Great choice I feel like no one ever talks about that ball@@bmasterboy
@@mello.art0 yeah it’s my favourite because I caught my favourite Pokémon leafeon in it in Pokémon sword since the friend ball was in the same location as eevee and to match leafeons colour
Actually, the pokeball does not turn them in to energy, in Legends Arceus, it is confirmed that Pokémon shrink themselves to a smaller form, in theory, pokeballs force the Pokémon to shrink, but they can resize and break out.
Your pokeballs 😉
the manga literally shows that pokemon can see outside of the pokeballs. And that they can shrink. They dont turn into energy or data. They shrink.
The anime is where it gets confusing. And they definitely seem to turn into energy there. And in the anime, manga, and just pokemon info books released in the 90s, They state that the pokeballs are just extremely comfortable for the pokemon. Not necessarily that it creates an environment for the pokemon. The environment idea comes from the games allowing you to change the backgrounds for the pc boxes. But pretty sure thats just aesthetic
Here's a plot twist the whole Pokemon world just inside of a pokeball
Thats deep 😱
@@mello.art0that’s what your mom said to me
@@LilXancheX not funny kid
now all thats left to do is to find that pokeball-
i've thought this theory a few times, also we just need to ask Arceus about pokeballs they'll prob have the answer lol
Pokemon don’t become digitized when captured. I think many people just draw parallels to Digimon. When going into a Pokeball, the Pokemon shrinks to a very small size. This is an inherent ability of Pokemon. It has been canon since 1996 and was just recently re-mentioned in Legends Arceus. Dynamax in Gen 8 is basically the reverse process. Since humans do not possess that shrink ability, they cannot be caught with a Pokeball.
Interesting i need to look this up
This does make logic
*but the canonical reason for why Pokeballs break on failure though is because the computer/chip inside the pokeball gets fried when the pokemon resists and makes the ball fail to process its data*
also not to be too rude but *the fucking Pokemon Box PC system already exists jackass*
although in Pokémon Conquest the people of the Ransei(?) Region they chose to bond with Pokemon instead of catching them and or didn't have Pokeballs lel
it is kind of fucking funny to imagine though that with Legends Arceus setting up the invention of the Pokeball and Pokemon 4 Ever showing Past Professor Oak's old school Pokeball it implies there was barely any change to the technology for like 1000 years before it was completely fucking overhauled in like 40-50 years lel
finally someone else that knows the true answer
the pokeball breaks because the pokemon grows larger than it...
the PC exists but this was literally an inspiration from shin megami tensei, the first monster taming game. And it makes it convenient as an explanation as to how the player can catch so many without having to drop off their current pokemon somewhere. We also know, lore-wise, the pokemon universe has advanced technology. And literally just transports the pokeball and pokemon to the pc. (not necessarily meaning they were digitized) @@Pokemaster-wg9gx
On the topic of Bill's PC, in the anime when Ash caught his 7th pokemon, Krabby, the pokeball turned into energy and shot upwards (like maybe towards a satellite or tower?).
And when a wild pokemon breaks out of a pokeball, it probably gets turned into energy and dissipates.
I like the idea is a satellite 📡 it actually fits really well to this idea
I remember pokeballs also shrinking and expanding… or am I going crazy? Lol
The balls can shrink yes also be instantly teleported to the pc
@@mello.art0 right, right….. 🧐
@@HiFi_Vibes
No they do
@@astro_mapping1 YES
I think the inside of the ball is so technologically advanced that it creates the pokemons nature that adapts to their types
I 100% agree
Ok.. now do the same analysis with the Pal Spheres from PalWorld, except this time.. they can catch humans 😅
lol 😂 that’s actually a great idea I already have some ideas why they can catch people
lol thatll be a funny video
people can't be captured by pokeballs because then they'd be bought/sold/trafficed like pokemon... like Palworld. Pokemon has slavery, but Palworld has slavery PLUS human trafficing.
That is also a reason it does not fit the pg nature of a pokemon
3:49 i think its just that they have piride in the fact that they havent been caught, then they do and they think that sticking around might be a good idea (but thats just a theory ;) )
That could be an option 😉
A GAME THERO-Sorry :/
@@freeasabird30 don’t l like it
Gen 4 has a folktale that Pokemon eventually decided to go with humans should the need arise. Have also seen the idea that a Pokemon rebelling against the trainer could be a sense of “worthiness.” Being caught could be the Pokemon ultimately deciding that staying with this person could be worth it, and them rebelling due to gym badge requirements or other reasons is them basically being proven wrong for the moments.
When I first started watching the Pokemon anima there is actually an episode where they show how Pokemon lives in a pokeball and it is actually a simulated pokemon environment like you used in the video.
I really think that simulated environment just fits the idea so well
Which season did you start watching ?
Bro spelled anime wrong 💀💀💀💀
@@GabrielOrtiz-qj6re sorry for the typo
i love your video but you didn't mention psyduck from the anime; he escapes multiple times from misty's pokèball
That is true just like wobbuffet . thinking about it lol I should have used more examples XD
we learned in a 90s commercial where ash looses all his socks and the pokeball was a pocket dimention, unforttatly this commercial seems to be long lost to father time.
Wait really !!! I would love to somehow find that commercial on the internet maybe in the archives
I remember that! It was a WB promo commercial. What’s funny is I think it also introduced a Talking Sock mascot for the channel, as he appeared a lot more promos.
The anime and games have this distinction from each other, where the anime shows pokemon get digitized while the games emphasize pokemon shrinking and growing instantaneously from or to a ball of light
There’s no mind control it’s just compassion and earning their trust
There have been Pokémon who are shown to disobey their trainers
Its a consensual relationship
Wild pokémon nearly always try to fight you or flee from you and often require being subdued with force before they give in.
Theyre monsters running around trying to attack you. You use another monster to beat it up(weaken it) & all of a sudden its your friend?...definitely some mind controlling going on
I have a point against that the manga actually states the gym badges mind control Pokémon into obedience, hence why some people playing the games cannot use higher lvl Pokémon from trades untill obtaining a gym badge
@@marquisethomas5611 It could be more about showing the Pokémon that you're worthy of being their trainer, like Legionaries for example. Also in the anime, Ash's Pikachu hates the Pokéball so mind control may not be a factor.
@@elio7610wild Pokémon are less like irl wild animals and more like strays all you gotta do is gain their trust and they won’t attack you
No mind control necessary you don’t need to catch them to bond with them ash has proven this numerous times
7:58 I wonder how the pals/humans would feel if you capture them in palworld 🤔🤔
I just got a question like this earlier now, I am trying to work on a video for this 😂
3:08 💀
🥸
Going with the manga explanation, they just shrink, sit and chill in a ball, the red part is transparent.
I have also been thinking the same
😎
I´m still wondering why can Ash´s belt only hold 6 pokeballs and why can´t they be put in a backpack? Carrying a bunch of firewood or other heavy things but more than 6 pokeballs "sorry, that´s too heavy dude".
See this is something that never makes sense and why when they cross 6 pokemon the others auto matically get sent to storage in the PC
Jordan Fringe made a 12hr video about it.
12 hours WOW I need to watch that video@@Ren505nm
Theory, you know how you find items in Pokéballs? Maybe they keep these things in dedicated “item balls.”
Love,lure,master, prehistoric, ultra (etc)❤❤❤
Pokemons turned to energy when they get inside pokeballs is almost similar to star trek transporters where transported things turns to energy patterns and are saved to the transporter buffer which should be similar to pokeballs containment. This will also explain the need for specialized pokeballs that can store high level pokemons with higher energy patterns that regular pokeballs cannot contain.
I like how he says balls so much in this vid
Balls ⚽️
Smh🤦🏾
Big, red balls.
I had once captured all gen 1 and gen 2 only using the basic pokeball
That’s actually incredible
I noticed that it skipped over when Ash put Pikachu in its pokeball to protect it in the Pokemon 2000 movie but that was literally the only time that Pikachu willingly went into it's pokeball
There used to be this online Pokemon game where you were able to play with people worldwide and you had to choose to be a Trainer or a Pokemon and if you chose to be a Pokemon and a trainer captured you and put you in his pokeball you would be in some kind of relaxing forest where you can play game uploaded music inside the pokeball and you could go to a screen and watch your trainer of whatever they were doing and when your trainer logged out of the game you would be back in the outside world
You literally see whats inside a normal pokeball. When Misty catches Psyduck, you can see that he's just in there. Nothing fancy.
0:12, um, is professor oak packin'?
Facts 😂
What about in one if the books where red paints his pokeball to look like a cue ball to beat people in pool? The ball rolls in what ever direction the pokemon wants it too.
I don’t remember this but 😂 this actually would be a funny use for the pokeballs
I think that the pokedex takes information from the Pokemon and makes a digital soul which when using a pokeball the digital soul goes inside and can then capture the Pokemon, however, the soul still has strength so the Pokemon can escape
Interesting take I like it
3:10 is crazy
3:09 is crazy
I wish they had Masterballs in Palworld, there's too many times where I couldn't get a shiny.
Right !!! lol like the legendary jet dragon
I was always under the impression that prof. Oak had a transport system that included the pokieball with the storage system
I love the great ball.
Great choice it’s my 3rd favorite
I think I know why the Pokémon shakes. That's the pokemon trying to bust out If it's not able to bust out in three hits , it's forced to obey the One that captures it
This is a really good explanation for the shakes
There is that one episode in sun and moon where the scientist or whatever comes to their classroom showing of a gadget inspired by the pokeball, stating that the poke ball shrinks the Pokémon to fit inside the ball
I always imagined their was a big red button in the middle of a tailored room for the Pokémon, and if they don’t like it they press the red button -and that’s how they escape, the red button is also the round circle connecting the top of the pokeball and the bottom
Some people had some real big questions about life and some deeper truths and some wondering whats in a pokeballl......
Apricorns have a minimizing affect on pokemon and stone and metals keep them insulate properly inside.
😃
There's an episode where ash turns into a picachu. I wish they took the time to see inside a poke ball. Maybe it's like snoopy dog house huge inside
That would have been so cool 😂 just to see the fantasy of each and every pokemon in the ball
Master ball cuz It can catch anything
Yes lol I once caught a caterpie with the master ball just to make my friend angry
I think that the Pokémon that is captured in a poke-ball first, goes to be energy and then be captured for real in the Poké Ball, but first actually be a Pokémon again, but in the Poké- ball
Personally I don't think a child's anime was ever ment to be dissected to this degree
It might be possible that these poke balls are a way to a universe which are best suited for that Pokemon
I always assumed a pokeball was created by a Time Lord. Its bigger on the inside. 👽 If a Celebi was the spirit of the TARDIS that would explain ALOT!
Also pokemons recover in pokeball and pokeballs also change size before the first use
That is true very good points
Generally, I just think that it’s kind of like a little room in there that they live and button in there, but let them out if they can press it time to escape the wall when the tanner gets them in the ball look when they just captured the Pokémon like a roof And if it’s like a regular ball, regular Poké ball, the difficulty of finding the button to let them escape is like easy every other Poké ball it gets like medium, hard, extremely hard, impossible, etc. And that’s what I think happens inside of a Poké ball.
So it’s like escape rooms but with harder difficulties I like it !!!
Being a trainer is like marriage
You have to form a bond with them get to know them and they have to consent to a lifelong commitment until you or them decide you aren’t a perfect match or you want more out of life and then you part ways
That’s how I have always seen it like a platonic marriage
They dont transform into energy pokemon have the ability to shrink there sizes making poke balls the best device for cqtching them-and if you played pokemon legends arceus you know this is true
Lots of evidence to show other ideas of what happens in the ball lol one day hopefully we can get a real answer from the company
Inside the ball is that it looks like a hotel for 1000 PokeCoins
5 star poke hotel @@bujayee328
the manga, and legends arceus have said pokemon shrink. They are literally called pocket monsters@@mello.art0
Never heard the word "Balls" so often in a 8min Video
I wonder if there is a record for that maybe I can compete
Dr. Briefs's capsule. It shrinks and regrows whatever is put into it. That's what I think is happing in the Pokeball.
It could be 😄
What about the giant stone poke ball used on the giant Claydol? Surely there is no technology in that?? 🧐🤔
The new pokemon show gives you an idea of what is going on inside the ball
Yeah and I thought that was cool !!! I have a section on that in the video
Fun fact people have been caught in pokeballs in some of the shows and movies
Really ? I guess I missed those episodes however I do think its possible since humans are pokemon
Proof?
I believe Pokémon appear in a white room, and there is a door, and depending on the type of Pokéball, the door has a different seal, for example:
The poké ball just has a door
The great ball has a barricaded door
The master ball has no door at all
And when a pokémon is sent out, they just vanish from the room and comes out of the ball.
lol this is dark and I like it haha i
I'm disappointed you never brought up the manga visuals of the inside of pokeballs. Pokemon aren't shrunken down but actually have the innate ability to shrink themselves down. The first Pokemon capture was with a glasses case.
Actually they kind of have like a universe kind of vibe if Pokémon wanna interact with each other in the poke ball Proof: Pokémon Ultimate Journeys the close to final episodes where Ash fights Leon, farfetched and Lucario give each other a high five in the poke ball before switching places or maybe another Pokémon that switched with lucario I don't remember but that switch was cold as hell 🗿😬
When you go to Anime Cons they are always selling Terrarium's of Pokémon so it makes sense
Facts 😂
I like gumbino’s version more
Pokeball is like a mini park where everything is available as per your needs I think 🤔💬
Ash's ashawat once jumped out of its pokeball in the middle of a match in the arena so it could fight and u need to have a bond with your POKEMON like sometimes the catching process fails because the Pokemon wasn't exhausted so after a battle they sometimes stay when they like you and sometimes i think they want to rest so they stay in the Pokeball some Pokemon stay at will
In the Pokeball just like Ash's Frogadear before it evolved and like Roy's Feucoco what do guys think
Why is there a clip of avatat the last airbender at 5:07
i think they are energy, but concious of their surroundings. Also it must be somehow related to pokemons DNA
I think that’s a pretty fair reasoning
I use to think its small space that crams in a Pokemon, its Curelty to Pokemon... I use think it was like staying in a genie bottle. But whats inside a genie bottle?? Besides Wishes...
I like that genie part sounds so mysterious and dep
The Pokémon don’t get brain washed they just love to owner for giving them a luxury place to live
I mean if it’s a luxury ball it makes sense
The pokemon are fully conscious inside the PokeBall. Sometimes the pokemon like to take naps in their PokeBall, or do other usual solo pokemon stuff, until their trainer needs them for battle or something. What is really sad is that Ghetsis has this staff/ metalic walking stick thingy that can shut down a pokeball's opening/ functioning mechanic, so the pokemon becomes trapped or locked inside their PokeBall until Ghetsis turns his little device back on that enables the pokeballs to function again, so that the trainer (assuming they have modern pokeball's that would be affected by such a device) cannot use their pokemon to oppose him. Ghetsis is truly despicable! And the pokemon that would be trapped in their pokeball's would shake the PokeBall, frantically trying to get out so that they can help their trainer, but they can't due to being locked inside their PokeBall. Then the PokeBall shakes with rage, because the pokemon is thinking, "How dare this Ghetsis guy be such a coward as to lock me inside of my PokeBall! When I get out of here, I am going to kick his butt!" Then the trainer would be at Ghetsis's mercy. Because, since the device belongs to Ghetsis, the device he holds blocks the frequency of the power that makes the modern pokeball function, so Ghetsis can still use his pokemon. But the opposing trainer cannot (unless said trainer has pokemon friends that they haven't captured still out in the wild somewhere that would help out the trainer in their time of need out of the goodness of their heart), but wild pokemon choose life, so they probably wouldn't help/ be unable to help, because there is some unwritten rule that you cannot heal a wild pokemon, because it does not belong to you. Only certain organizations in the pokemon world can help with that, but the injured pokemon has to make it there on their own, without help from anyone. Life as a wild pokemon is rough. Even if said wild pokemon wanted to help, they'd probably be too weak, and get taken out almost instantly, unless Ghetsis decides to prolong it's suffering, to teach the opposing trainer a lesson that pokemon don't belong with people, because some people have bad intentions for pokemon and take away the Pokemon's freedom to choose, and people can be cruel, so pokemon should be set free according to Ghetsis and his plan with Team Plasma. But I wonder if those old timey wimey pokeball's from the Hisuian region would be affected by Ghetsis's staff/ metal walking stick thingy? Since they are not modern, probably not. So if someone like the player character from Hisui were to come along in such a circumstance, he could probably kick Ghetsis's butt real quick, provided he brought with him the right pokemon of the appropriate level to deal with the situation. Then Ghetsis would be like, "These people from Hisui are really getting on my nerves!" And the trainer would have backup pokemon, be cause their pokemon are kept in pastures, not PC boxes! So they would have the upper hand in this scenario. Ghetsis would be saying his prayers and wetting his pants at that point. Then that trainer from Hisui would be like, "Try and stop me now!!! Oh, wait, you can't! HA!!!" Then he gets his hands on the device of Ghetsis's and breaks it, so that the modern trainer can use their pokeballs and pokemon again. Then the super ultra peeved pokemon would surround Ghetsis and peck him to death, or whatever other moves the pokemon decide to use on him. The trainer would have a hard time trying to calm their pokemon down, but at the same time the pokemon would be so happy just to be with their trainer again! It would be a most joyous and emotional reunion, that it would! Some pokemon would stand guard by Ghetsis's body, to make sure that Ghetsis's dead corpse never moves again. Being a pokemon would definitely not be easy, but it would be worth it to protect a trainer that they care about, and that resonates with them. Sharing that special bond of friendship with a pokemon is a privilege and an honor! It's valiant, even! Even if the pokeball that the pokemon got captured in was not ideal, the power of friendship would carry them through their trials and tribulations/ challenges. And hopefully the pokemon get the happy ending that they deserve! ❤😊
You showed us the size change of the pokeball several times. But how do you explain this ability of a Pokeball?
Easier for trainers to carry the pokeballs around and the functionality of digitizing doesnt change .
I miss Greninja! 😭
Don’t we all 🥲 I also miss heracross

Like how the anime portrays it as calling the professor
The pc is just the video game version of showing the same thing but simplified
Nurse Joy/Officer Jenny are Pokémon.
Literally all Pokémon are able to understand language. Meowth and some legendaries are able to openly communicate with humans. There are other Pokémon that have human like body figures. There are thousands if not hundreds of thousands of Joy/Jenny around the Pokémon universe. So they are Pokémon that can openly communicate with humans. We just don’t ever see anyone attempting to catch one because everyone respects that they work to heal pokemon.
2:44 That is digimon
Basically

That would actually be really cool 😂
Nothing is inside.
Nothing. I just the Illusion that something went inside. In reality. It's just a drawing it was never intended to show what's "inside"
That’s deep
have you ever wondered what happens if someone were to catch a pokemon then somehow lose it? like drop it off a cruise ship and have it sink to the bottom of the ocean? are they just doomed to live the rest of their life contained within?
hmmm I never actually thought about this, now I need to make a video on what would happen
they can see what's outside the Poké ball i believe and because in Pokémon journeys when Goh captures sobble, he talks to it and the ball nods a "yes" gesture so apparently they can even move the ball, so i guess that explains why they can force summon themselves out of the Poké ball at times meaning they I think have more control of the Poké ball than we originally thought 🤔 (edit) i also learned through watching journeys that i guess Pokémon can abandon their Poké ball and just walk off and once they get a certain distance they can't be returned, they still belong to the trainer but i guess the Poké ball has a radius on it 🤔 i wish they delve deep into the science of pokeballs in the show but i feel like they keep it mystery on purpose🙏 for writing mostly 😉 and im not sure if the Poké ball brain washes them per say because in the about books one of the creators explained the reason a wild Pokémon can go from disobedient to after being captured wanting to stay with the trainer is because the wild Pokémon that was challenged and lost now views that trainer as stronger and therefore worthy so they stay with them and get stronger forming the beginning of a bond❤also why some Pokémon after being captured actually disobey their owner because they don't perceive them as strong
pokemon don't get brainwashed when captured. multiple episodes state that pokemon see being captured as a great honor because it allows them to grow much stronger than wild, and ash's pokedex explicitly states that wild pokemon tend to be jealous of pokemon that have been captured. a wild pokemon battles a trainer to test their skill and see if they're worthy of capturing them.
Isn’t there an episode in black and white where Ash captures a pokemon that’s one to many (he has seven) and the new pokeball starts flashing red until he manually gets it to Oak?
I think so I also know we have seen the balls just go to oak instantly in the earlier seasons
3:01 wtf kinda transfer was that ...
It dematrelises pokemon into particles
yeah
the fact that a ten yo has the ability to upload dozens of live creatures into a pc is insane.
just think about the ability to duplicate pokemon files and ending poke world hunger
🤣 you just solved the worlds problems I never saw it like that
Pokemon thats lived to long in the pc then tranform in to something called digimon and a new universed is made. When that digimon is corrupted megaman battle networks universe comes
you comment brought joy to my face lol my head canon started going wild coming up with more
can you run doom on a pokeball
They are not subservient because they are brainwashed. But by defeating them and capturing them in battle, these Pokemon recognize the trainer to be a superior trainer. It was written as so in one of the guidebook in Gen 1 Pokemon.
OR:
The inside of the pokeball offers a matrix like perfect world that the pokemon become addicted to. So they just fight these fights to go back into the drug world they love so much
This is a dark turn to the answer and I love it
They made a stupid thing canon in Arceus, that pokemon can shrink. All of them. So that's part of how the balls work.
if there digitized how does pokemon arcues work
honestly pokemon arcues version does not explain all the other stuff that happens with them and the balls in general
Wth pokemon is actually a digimon all along? Crazy 😂
lol 😂
I think smash bros. Melee has the awnser

Ok I just care
How do h explain master balls’ 100% catch rate? For ANY pokemon?
I said it in the video basically I think that ball would give the ultimate and ideal enviroment for the pokemon and extra power brain wash lol basically nobody would want to leave a paradise where everything you want can happen
Considering there are many human-like pokemon and even pokemon that can become human, can the pokeball work on humans?
If not, how does it know the difference between a pokemon and a human? Mewtwo made a pokeball that can capture pokeballs, but others cannot. So some psychic pokemon mighy find ways around it.
So if a human becomes a pokemon the ball will work right? But if a pokemon becomes a human are they immune? Considering bill became a pokemon, a girl became a gengar and yamask was human; so the reverse should be possible right?
Imagine a pokemon taking a human body and using a pokeball to capture the human inside a pokemon. A real horror story there!
You win 🥇 I really like how your comment progressively got more intriguing 🧐 also let’s not forget we are shown that humans can also exhibit pokemon powers as shown in one of the later movies and humans were created from mew sooooooo
How did Ash know which pokemon are in the pokeball
Honestly I think it’s a heart of the cards kinda logic he just felt it , but I do believe other trainers would uses stickers or write the names on the ball to tell them apart

False. Legends Arceus explained this. All Pokemon inherently possess a natural ability to shrink. And even though they cannot control it a pokeball can manipulate this ability to shrink the Pokemon small enough to fit inside the ball.
