You just have to set it to the correct TIME-ZONE, if need be (it's set for the Central because that's the one that La Crosse, Wis. is in) and everything should work just PERFECTLY! Mine does!!! 😎 ❤ ⌚
I have the same issue where these setting instructions don't work with my watch. From what I have seen, the earlier watches had Junghans movements in them and were assembled in Thailand. They also had the two inset buttons rather than the innie/outie setup. The innie/outies were/are made in China. The Chinese versions are also lacking the cool display back that shows the big coil of the Junghans. They'd probably be more popular if they weren't such a pain to set.
everything is the same except the zone. go to about 5:30 in the video and you will see where you set the zone. Just set it to phillipines zone (I believe it is 13 hours in front of eastern standard)
I'm not aware of anywhere to send them, this is just the version I have. maybe someone else will know of someplace. good luck, let us know if you find a place.

Look near the stem for a pry spot. The top comes off, not the back
I guess this was sorta helpful. I at least seem to have managed to set my fathers watch correctly. We’ll see.
Mine is has two inset buttons, and doesn’t work as described here. Perhaps it’s just broken 😕
