You know it’s bad when the rotary is one of the most reliable snowmobiles of the trip😂
"Punching above its weight class" might be the coolest lines I've ever heard 😂🤘🇺🇲
@@JunkyardDigs bro the "knowing how old and brittle he issss" caught me off gaurd
edit the aarp discount why are getting onto him about his age lmao you did him dirty
@@Cloud_Shire_82 I'm still waiting for the angry text 😂😂
@@JunkyardDigs you should host the grand prix grand prix there this year
Real stuff
"AARP Discount" "old and brittle" 😂😂😂😂😂
🤣 Hey You Doing Ok after that Spill? Definitely Going to Need Some Ibuprofen...lol!
As an avid Northern MN snowmobiler....this is the kind of shenanigans I needed tonight!
This was a fun video and I was surprised the snowmobiles actually lasted the whole video. You guys are hilarious to listen to
That was some great fun! I have lived in Alaska sense 1962 and in 1968 as a senior in high school I was the only one with my own snowmobile, a 1965 Polaris Mustang with a 14hp JLO single engine. The other kids had to use their parents machines. Of course I customized mine with welding 3sided files to the skews under the skies for tighter turning. Cut down the windshield. Removed the muffler and headlight witch functioned as an air scoop for better carb and cooling. Custom ribbed rubber on the running boards. Squeeze handlebar grips. Custom bright red vinyl upholstery and a custom jet black paint job. Painted the skies to match the red seat. I removed the pull starter and just carried a rope to save weight.
That was in McGrath Alaska about half way between Anchorage and Nome. I’m 73 now and sold my last snowmobile and motorcycle two years ago. Just play with my classic car collection now. I have over 50. Take care and have fun!
I'm wishing I had lived as much in my 66 years as you good sir have/had in your first 30 years no doubt.
Oh man that sounds like a hot machine!
You guys look like your haveing a blast!
I swear Kevin everytime I have nothing left to watch I get a notification from junkyard Digs! 😂👍
Same i just finisished my last video
bro same
@@charlesoliver4606 same guys I’ve rewatched every single video at least 3 times by now lol
yeah about right
same everyone has slowed down alot on uploading this month
I love how Dalton started out with 90 points and everyone else started with 100. And I don't think anyone caught it in the first challenge
Oh he started with a hundred, but he thought he was going to skiing so he lost 10
@@JunkyardDigs sounds fair.
Wow! Who knew snowmobiles could be used for something besides a pub crawl! Well done!
I certainly hope your Not drinking and riding,a most irresponsible thing to do.
@@JoeRocket-sf6qs What else are you supposed to do while riding?
Shoutout to Carsandcameras ...The Carolina Boys braved the Midwest cold! Coming from the South to Wisconsin in winter time deserves some accolades. I sure wouldn't do it if I lived somewhere warm. 😆
I knew this was coming out because of pole barn garage.
That's turned into a good channel, I enjoy PBG!
Same
@@dsc420247 that it has! Proud to support him 🤘
@@JunkyardDigs Kevin that is not red rocket its the delta 88 that you sold
yup
Looks like a good time. Very good job editing.
As someone who deals with vintage sleds all the time, this video is hilariously relatable 😂
Just as I was about to go to bed, I see another snowmobile video... Guess I will be staying up 44 minutes later haha
That rotary, what a distinct sound, Great work Kevin and everyone! Very entertaining.
Great job Kevin. This must've been hell to organise but the video was definitely worth it
I think I was cracking up through this entire video, then dalton comes along and sends that enticer full larry, epic!
These challenge weekends are great to watch, such a good idea. Thanks for putting the effort into doing them Kevin, it's definitely appreciated.
That was so well worth the effort of getting all those vintage snowmobiles running. What a great video! Thanks for taking me along for the ride😊👍🏻
Kevin, you have sparked my renewed interest in my family's 1970 Skidoo Olympique 335. I want to get it running again and bring it to Chetek one of these years
I laughed so hard watching Dalton just yeet off that sled. Perfect ending.
Imma bet he was sore in the morning
Been bed ridden for the past week and really down and i needed something to watch, thanks man
Sold my sleds a few years ago and miss it.
This is the best sled video I’ve seen in a long time. Love the cheap older sleds. Thanks for a great video! Wish I was there.
That last part caught me so off guard 😂. I was dying of laughter
Great video and looks like you guys had a blast! I really like the collaboration with other CZcamsrs.
I'm glad to know that Iowan beer scientists are ahead of the curve on the crucial cooler trouser technology.
Kevin/Mook.... I've been watching your channel coming on 2 solid years now and truly love your content. The versatility of vehicles ,and people you come across... Thankyou for that! All said, this snowmobile content takes me back to my days in the 70's and 80's with these very machines..... We came home later after a run and a ride, smelling like 2 Stroke!!!! You know, you know right? All the best, Terry from Tillsonburg Ontario Canada!Hoo YA!
I'd love to see more atv type cheap challenges from you guys.
Same
Kevin always brings us the best content and what’s another good thing about it is that all his videos are over 20-30 mins.
This was a lot of fun even for me just sitting on the couch! The Vintage sleds are really honestly pretty damn neat! Oh to be 30 years younger!
Try 40 yrs for me.
@@bbrut3332 I'll bring the ibuprofen!!!
@@bryco32 please make it extra strength.... 😂
Nothing is more fun than riding slow sleds fast!
Seeing all these CZcamsrs is like watching a supergroup band formed.
It’s so much fun to hear everyone interacting
@31:41 "The torque of the rotary"... LMFAO
Man, that was all entertaining as hell! You guys could be Canadian. Thanks for all the laughs!
Been looking forward to this video, also your getting close to one million my dude! So, so well deserved 🤘🤘
I wish I had made the trek down from Canada to join you guys, would've been cool to hear a single cylinder sled, well at least one that's actually a single rather than just running on one lol.
Ah!! It takes me back to when those sleds were new. Going to races with my Dad and brothers. Had a '71 SnoJet with a 338cc Yamaha and a single Tilotson HR. Not a powerhouse but, lots of fun. Thank you for bringing me back to some great times. 👍
Was there an award for who threw out there back first ..that pulling is making my back hurt ..another great video
Definitely Dalton😂
I've been crippled for days 😂😂😂
One of the best parts of your videos is the comradery and friendship.
Needed points for mullets. Excellent post. Thanks Kevin and Dalton. 😂
Finally rust or bust. Been looking forward to this. Good guy and I don't even know him.
Hell yeah that is freaking awesome thanks to all of those guys for the video
I have been looking forward to this since Pole Barn Garage released his video several hours ago
Love seeing videos like this I’ve been waiting patiently for this after the video you announced it in.The snowmobile that couldn’t snowmobile lol
The sound of a pull start on a cold sled will forever bring me back to being a kid.
That Enticer 340 must've been tuned on a day exactly like y'all were riding
Oh and Kevin.......You get the pure vintage award all around.......THAT HELMET WAS CLASSIC!!!!!!!! Helmet, sled and suit!!!!!!
Angus has the snowmobile I learned how to drive, man, that brings back memories,I want another one. That thing was tons of fun
Awesome video. I hope this happens again next year. Maybe a summer version with cars and cameras
When Angus started playing the banjo at the beginning, I thought you got new intro music! 😆
Kevin that was quality snowmobile shenanigans, please do that again next year
I've been looking forward to this one for months!
That was awesome, I had no idea old sleds were so slow or turned so awful. Looked like tons of fun though
I was just talking to the fellars from wuff waders the other day this has to be a omen!! Lol great video lots of fun you know them boys at Polaris know iowa fellars well and they drink some big boy sodas lol
that bubble face visor brought back some memories lol
I moved to NC years ago...snowmobiles are one of the few things about living in the north that I miss.
I live in Savannah GA but am in Minnesota native- I still go back to MN and ride vintage every winter. In 2018 we had ice and 3 inches of snow that PARALYZED the city.. you know who just happened to have a '73 Ski Doo in for rehab? I was tearing up the neighborhood! :)
Looking forward to seeing this!
SOLIDLY one of my favorite episodes you did! I love vintage sleds, you're not far from my area, and all the shenanigans reminds me of all my buddies back in highschool!
This had to be one of the most smile-inducing videos I've watched in a while. Talk about bringing back memories of childhood (like 1985-1995 time frame) we had a '79 Arctic Cat ElTegre, 1980-something Arctic Cat Jag ('ol reliable), a 1981 (I think) Arctic Cat Linx, and a ~1980 Scorpion unknown 440 that was always in danger of shredding the track and like y'all faced, no parts available. Every winter was a battle to bring them back to life and try to not kill ourselves in the back yard or get lost in the state game lands. Thank you guys for the memories!!
Heck!
Excellent video.
Must have been a pain to edit, my hats off to you and the gang!
God Bless
😎
Next time any of you guys in wisco come a little closer to lake winnebago for some fun. I have plenty of room for camping in the yard.
JYD is always so informative. Beer pants. Whooda thunk it?
Nothing like the sound of an old two stroke sled , what a blast
Good to see another race featuring these knuckleheads on some "vintage" vehicles.😄
More of these group events need to happen! They are so much fun to watch.
Literally sitting here at EAATS studying for an exam tomorrow and watching your videos is keeping me sane.
This was awesome! Brought back alot of good memories on the old sleds
This is what it's all about Fun!
What a fun time for you guys! Keep bringing the fun and knowledge Kevin. Go Hawks!
@CarsandCameras I love how Ike and John are the most bundled up for the cold weather.
Love the cars and cameras duo with junkyard digs❤️
OMG I lost it on Dalton mugging the second time 🤣🤣🤣 Come summer, you are going to have to do a water sport version for sure!!
It was exating the whole time. A lot of motoring knowledge gathered there, made it possible, for all those old machines keep going.
Great video! Glad you all had a blast and PBG nice landing! Glad to see you bounce back!
Muff waders- ordered 09:16 am. Order shipped 09:34. Same day. Video took longer than my order!
Dude, this is one of the greatest videos I've seen on the tube. I have been involved with a vintage sno-machine rally for thirty years, brain fart, how about a Vikings -Packers rally on a lake in the middle, something to think about,,, keep up the good work !!!!
When you see angus you know it's gonna be a killer video
This was too much fun, I hope you all had as much of a blast making it as I had watching it!
I think everyone can agree that putting this video together was well worth it, very enjoyable and awesome seeing everyone together having a good time
Great video. You guys just proved that you can give me the classic old-school stuff over the new any day
If there's on thing about vintage snowmobiles is that i love the way the graphics look and just they way they look in general
If anything, Phoenix wins for theeee best vintage snowmobile suit! AND for the best looking vintage snowmobile! I love the editor notes coming from the bottom left hand corner!🤣🤣 This was great! Good job guys!!! No one's a loser!!👍
This is what the INTERWEBS was made for. Love it!
I just love the camaraderie between y'all, especially Kevin and Dalton 😂 And Angus being awkward yet funny is always fun to watch!
Once again I'm well entertained and I shouldn't be surprised, but you guys are the best! I think Angus deserves credit for being funniest, his humor has a delay to it but is nonetheless terrific! Dalton always gets my sympathy for being Dalton, down to earth and John is the borne entertainer. This was purely fun to watch!
Kind regards from snowy Sweden!
Both of you guys had very injoyable content. Meaning Dolton. Thanks for sharing 😊.
Love it when guys don't do enough homework to even know the proper model years on their sleds! lol For sure, that's a '78 Polaris Cobra 440, not a '79. But this is anything but serious... and one of the most enjoyable vintage videos I've ever seen! Love it! What a great bunch!
Just threw me back to when I was a kid !! Love those vintage machines, had a evenrude bobcat, Massey Ferguson chinook, skidoo Olympic! Love it !!!!
Really great video Kevin enjoyed all your contestants
I absolutely love this, you’ll definitely have to do this again next year!
The wrecked Jag was the best for sure!!
Ngl some parts of this video very nostalgic and kinda teary eyed 🥹 my step father whom has died of Brian cancer loved vintage snow mobiles we’d do this thing any time the lakes where frozen enough to do it and do fire and ice Wich was Midwest think where we would host vintage snow mobiles and do a massive bonfire on the iced lake it very cool to do with him but nowadays he gone and I’d just like to say thank you junkyard diggs for posting this is brought back so many memories of me and him doing similar things like this in your video! Keep on keeping on man! Love your work
Nothin like seeing Angus grinning on an old snowmobile 😄
Larry Enticer would be very proud! Great video boys!
Kev you've got a bright career in racing commentary if this CZcams thing fizzles out!
Ever since I watched your video reviving an old snowmobile, everyone I see on marketplace makes me go "hmmm..." And now I go and push me with this!
When I was sixteen and living in Iowa, I got my first snowmobile, a 1981 Arctic Cat Pantera 500. I traded a junk Plymouth Lazer for it. Somehow I got that sled running with my limited mechanical skills, and it kicked so much ass all my friends got cheap junker vintage sleds. One got an Invader 340 I recall. Soon after I got one of the sickest vintage sleds ever, a 1979 Polaris Centurion 500 triple. I either paid $100 or $200. I don't wanna know what that thing is worth today. It had three huge Mikunis and three expansion chambers, obviously built to drag, but I stupidly trail rode it. One day I had to tow my buddy's invader home, and my Centurion broke the chain case. I sold it to some old guys for probably way too little. I had more snowmobiling adventures after that, but this video really brought back those first magical winters. Thank you
Pretty hard FALL glad Dalton is good great video guys
After all the teasing for this event, it was totally worth it.
Next season I think there should be a citation or 2 in the mix. Looking forward to that gauntlet. Nice job guys. 🌨
Phenomenal points system!
Cool video. I love to see guys having fun with vintage sleds without abusing them.
Vintage snowmobiling is always a good time
Love all your videos!! Always glad when a new one pops up
Every time Phoenix pulled his it sounded like cash register noises costing him money lol 😂
Haha Dalton pole barn garage wreck was awesome
