- In nearly seven months of war, more than 35,000 Palestinians have been killed and large parts of the Gaza Strip destroyed.
The International Criminal Court's top prosecutor says Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defence Minister Yoav Gallant bear criminal responsibility for war crimes and crimes against humanity.
Prosecutor Karim Khan has also applied for arrest warrants for three Hamas leaders for the October 7th attack on Israel.
So what does this mean for the devastating war on Gaza?

Threatening the ICC is a disgrace
October 2015 UN Delegates voted unanimously that Netanyahu as violating the Human Rights of Palestinians. The next step was to refer his case to the ICC. Trump just elected hired Nikki Haley, midterm Governor of So Carolina, quit to be US UN Delegate and appeared in the Delegates and announced that if he was referred to ICC that, "We will be taking names." Likely implying foreign aid of their representing country would be affectted. Netanyahu gave Haley "Honorary citizenship of Israre". Had Haley not stopped the process there would likely not have been a genocide. Wonder if that has ever occured to her, but she said last Nobember for Israel to "finish it off". Hopefully she is not going to be selected to be Trumps VP if he is elected. She is a Trojan Horse and has little to no experience needed to lead a country if she had to replace the President.
Kennedy has some great proposals for changes he wants to make that are astounding.
Trump set Haley to threaten the UN Delegate vote, and he converted to Judaism when in office and has kept it mum. He is not going to be much different than Biden in my lowly opinion.

No, 124 countries are signatories to the ICC. This doesn't inherently mean they all support the potential arrest warrant.

Hopefully the ICC will issue warrants against those who threaten the court or attempt to make it drop the charges using sanctions.
To try and alter the actions of the courts through threats and pressure are a criminal act and the ICC needs to enforce the law.
