The best part though is the in-game "Ponder" feature that lets you learn about nearly every mechanic with an interactive, 3D tutorial. Highly recommend it for people who want to elevate your creations to the next level.

It’s low effort to make, only needing to go into some animation software and create a sphere to put on the character. It’s literally the 3D equivalent of taking a normal picture of a character and using the circle tool on it in Microsoft paint.
ive seen one of those types of animations before, and all i can say is that it isn't reccommended

I think the Create Mod got a partial boost in popularity because GoodTimesWithScar, TangoTek, BdoubleO100, ZedaphPlays, and Keralis started a series on it.
Mumbo (another hermitcraft member) did a couple videos on it a few months back, and a similar surge also happened, albeit on a smaller scale since he's just one guy, compared to the 5 mentioned here

The fence gates not connecting is super useful for animal pens, you can make an opening in the fence you can fit through but the mobs can not. I think it's an intended mechanic and not a bug. At least it's been that way since the beginning of time fr fr

Nether Brick Fences dont Connect cause they arnt Programed with the Fence Class, but a Class of their Own, Like Stone Walls (Which Cant Connect with Either of them Either)

It can be useful to defend your base while hostile mobs forgor your pathfinding
Expect Skeletons, Creepers and Baby Zombie’s it will not defend it
Just use the wall or fence with wood and place on top the carpet them you can now jump ON the carpet with player now the mobs supposed to know how to pass the base
Just be easy defend your base (not recommended is skeleton and creepers do unless you have to shoot it)

the brick fences being unable to connect with wood fences makes sense. like, have you seen a brick fence (not wall)? or like, seen a brick fence being able to mesh with wooden fences? it's hard to explain but it makes sense when visualized for me
The fence thing actually happens because nether brick fences are not technically fences. i think their hitboxes were thinner or something like that. Originally it was a bug that the nether fence did not connect with normal fences but then people found out that mobs will not go through the gap between a normal and nether fence but players can so you can make a pretty good entrance in the fence
