People knew they were creeps, they just covered for them. I remember in the 80s reading Jackie Collin’s books. She blatantly told everyone what Hollywood was like. We (I included) accepted that as normal for Hollywood. Which is so wrong, there should have been a move to stop it! Instead it was normalized. Now if you look at what these monsters did to the actors and actresses of the golden age it’s horrendous, heartbreaking and disgusting. I’m appalled by how accepting we were.

Sharkfan exactly! I am so tired of his condescending crap and his pretentious “I find that so fascinating” monotone disposition. Is constantly gaslighting his guests to make them have to explain things that are absolutely meaningless… For example even in this interview McAuley said something along the lines of “everybody has an article...” and Joe has to make a point of saying “everybody?” Where he then has to explain himself afterwards... even the way he says “sure” when somebody is talking is so utterly pretentious

I felt this way too :(

Watching this at home, alone.
He's intelligent and goofy like my 50 year old neighbor. Cool to see him laugh and smile because you know he's been through the mill. He was dealing with the Weinsteins and Epsteins before people really knew they were creeps.

Home alone literally shaped part of my child hood, one of the most impactful movies on me during that time. Your the best Macaulay
How did Home Alone shape your childhood? Is a family comedy about a kid who defeats two bumbling adults by himself (and a creepy pedo at the end).
Looks like you answered yourself at the end. Goodnight everybody!
He’ll yeah I love both the first and second movie. I watched those 2 and the goonies almost every day when I was a kid. I’m 30 and I’ll still watch the 2 home alone movies, usually around Christmas. Everything about the movie is awesome. Well written and the acting is good. Glad they both were part of my childhood.
You’re*
He’s so charismatic, sounds more like a host than a guest
He actually has a podcast
Agreed, Nothing like how corporate media has portrayed him.
What are you talking about? I mean, don't get me wrong, I've had a lot of friends like Caulkin, but he's a weird, almost creepy guy. Rogan humored him, but kept pulling him back to normality...
@@bigestbiggy8214 I love how society force feeds the importance of personal civil liberties, and yet the vapidly self righteous such as yourself are driven to hatred. Yeah he was probably a drug addict for many of his formative years but don’t we practice forgiveness if someone is actively showing a want to better oneself? He was a millionaire before he hit 10, I think he can getta fair do over.
Or is your point that you staunchly judge someone because they have nothing in common with you? Lol rhetorical question, I don’t give a flying duckie what you’re about to say.
Youre a good one.
Awesome.
I met Macaulay, and his little brother, at a playground, when we were kids.
It was while they were filming "The Good Son".
The best memory of that was that we were both just normal kids.
He just had more babysitters.
That is one of my favorite movies🔥
@@dionbelle2403 I guess I have a sentimental connection to it.
It's a bit odd, having seen the movie, after having met him just being a kid on the playground.
I guess they must break the job down a bit, for child actors.
I don't think it would be good for a kid to stay in that sort of character, like adult actors do.
Probably why they took them to the park.
That’s cool that you got to play with him as a kid. Luckily he turned out good after things he went through.
@@proudmarinemomma827 I like to think I did the same lol.

This is golden and represents what is great about Joe Rogan's Podcast. I missed this one by a few years obviously. I get the feeling if past lives are real that Macaulay and Joseph used to heckle Roman soldiers together as kids, and get away with it. They get along so well and it's a pleasure to listen to men who are funny, compassionate and aware.

I can't believe how funny and quick he is on his quips. I'm so impressed.
Culkin's pretty clever, "who needs cursive, am I write?" Clever humour 🤣
Yeah. Puns. Love that rosey o'donnell humor. Like something that would be on the back of a cereal box, or the inside of a candy wrapper. That's what really makes me delirious with laughter.

Let me help you in 1 aspect of real life @LilBoiMajora... TV = tell-lie-vision. TV and media purpose is to indoctrinate you with propaganda, form what you believe about people. Same they did to Gadaffi who was a great man who made Libyia better than America, and Fidel Castro too as his people have free healthcare and education. America is really the shithole 3rd world country. They depict McCauley bad for their own reasons and you believe it.

I’m glad there wasn’t simply out of respect for Mack. He’s talked about it a little before but he doesn’t like being in that spot.
@@jacobmarks8893I think he’s sick of having to defend his friend. You can tell how much he respected Michael Jackson, and now every time people ask him about Michael is always about the allegations so it’s gotta hurt for him to always be in that position.

I like almost all mature, good natured and genuine people. That said, I think he's probably the kind of guy who if you didn't know who he was beforehand, and struck up a normal conversation with him, he'd likely entertain you.
