Love the style of this video. You should definitely give us some sound clips :3
The unic video in this channel and its gold
Had to subscribe, love to they you explained it thoroughly. Great vid!
Thanks, this video really helped me with the install!
this video is beautiful good job
Thanks great video.
Great info bro
You don’t need a new map sensor for this installation ? I have the same vehicle and just bought the same injen intake and I want to make sure I can just install it without throwing off the computer
Hey man I’m not sure or why you could put the air filter in first ?? What was it attached to and what did the fog light cover have to do with it ?
Please if you have a link to the cai with the MAF sensor please link it
quick question, I saw you hook up the battery at the end but i didn't see you take it off in the beginning, do we need to disconnect the battery before installing?
A little late but definitely
Is it a safe place for the filter to be or is it exposed to water when washing your car or stuff like that?
Wishing your car won’t make it suck water in. Going through water that’s curb high in the rain will allow it to suck in water.
My air temperature sensor supposed to be by the bumper but it’s completely broken also my maf sensor is in the middle by the throttle body
Is there the link for that specific one?
ok i see you LMAO
Does the 2009 model rabbit have both of those sensors as well? Is there a specific place you recommend getting parts from?
09 doesnt have a maf sensor
Can we see any update on this car??
Did this require any tune?
Where are you from? Can i pay you to install an intake for my 09 jetta s?
weird question but i have the same exact mode car and i was wondering if you know what the trim pieces under the headlights are called because my car is black but it has a really cheap textured plastic one and i’d like to get some that are gloss like yours
@Lance Oh did you notice that when driving the rabbit in 3rd or 4th it had a better sound? Or even more kick?
My rabbit has an automatic transmission, but I did notice a WAY better sound compared to the stock intake. The injen intake definitely gives the car more kick, I 100% recommend considering this product
@@lanceoh8645 thank you much for the reply have a merry christmas
is the 15 hp gain true ?
How did you take off the plastic hoses with the plastic clips don’t wanna break when I do mine
0:57 pliers should be used to pull the plastic clips inwards and it should come off without breaking
@@lanceoh8645 no the two plastic clips with the tubes coming from the air pump
@@redskijoanette9936 can you give me a time stamp? Sorry, I worked on this awhile back so I need a refresher

Bro where can I get those parts for my 2009 Volkswagen RABBIT
I just ordered the injen intake off Amazon. They got it black or silver. I just ordered the black.
What’s the link for the air intake?
injen.com/i-30498512-injen-sp-cold-air-intake-system-black-sp3026blk.html
How are your sound systems in your car
They are great, they are stock but are still good
Did it cause a check engine light ?
Anthony Santangelo nope
Where did u order the intake from
I ordered it off Amazon but you can also get it straight from the Injen website
Do you have a link to this exact CAI by any chance?
No unfortunately, but you can try searching up “Injen Cold Air Intake” for Volkswagen. Hope that helps
Did you find it!
What screw socket did u use to take off the maf sensor
No screw socket, just use a flathead to take it out
At 6:35 you used a flat head? Because I'm not sure what screw it is on the maf sensor
I'm talking about the housing it sits in with the 2 screws
@@anil.dinero7687 Oh sorry, I used a 12mm
Did you notice a change in the exhaust note? And overall would you recommend this product?
I haven't noticed any significant change in the exhaust note. Most of the change was in the sound of the engine. I definitely recommend this product if you want to improve the power of your vehicle. The sound of the engine with this intake is very satisfying!
Ohh okay, thank you :)
Is keeping the engine cover on necessary after installing cold air intake?
Where you live
You’re screwed if you’re driving deep water
That’s 5 more hp?
False. It has a sticker on it so that along with the intake gives 50 more.
5 for the intake
45 for the sticker.
My car barely feels different and kinda sounds worse now everything else is stock. Think twice before spending money on just a CAI
Uhh I don’t see how this is better.
I don’t remember who asked
🤣🤦🏽♂️
