本片透過影像紀錄葉裁老師的過往故事。葉裁老師講述過去在國外的歷程，以及回到臺灣後全心致力鄉土文化的心路歷程。葉裁老師的艱辛歷程，堅持自己的攝影夢想，不求名利，記錄著客家的鄉土。
透過照片述說的最本土的精神與故事。六十年來，絲毫沒有懈怠。就算被人嘲笑為傻子，葉裁老師也將其化成動力。感謝著上蒼還有給予他助力的朋友，不動搖心志的持續向前行。葉裁老師的人生哲學展現出了完成一件事不用在趕在最快的時間做完。慢慢做用心感受，就可以做到最好。縱使歷經種種事故，依然心懷感恩，繼續上天賦予他的使命。
葉裁老師紀錄的臺灣本土的客家故事，其實葉裁老師自身也是一個令人動容的客家人物故事。
This film records the past stories of Mr. Ye Cai through video. Mr. Ye Cai tells about his past experience abroad and his mental journey of devoting himself to local culture after returning to Taiwan. Mr. Ye Cai’s hard journey, insisting on his dream of photography, seeking fame and wealth, records the Hakka native land, and tells the most local spirit and stories through photos.
Over the past sixty years, he has never slacked off. Even if he was ridiculed as a fool, Mr. Ye Cai turned it into motivation, thanking God for giving him helping friends, and continue to move forward unwaveringly. Mr. Ye Cai’s philosophy of life shows that to complete a thing, you don’t have to rush to finish it in the fastest time. You can do it slowly and feel it, just can do the best. Even after all kinds of accidents, he is still grateful and continues the mission entrusted to him by God.
Mr. Ye Cai recorded the local Hakka stories in Taiwan. In fact, Mr. Ye Cai himself is also a moving story of Hakka characters.
