- In today's vlog we head to the Space Coast to Kennedy Space Center for the grand opening of their newest exhibit and ride in Gateway: The Deep Space Launch Complex! Where we discover the current and upcoming cutting edge innovations of space exploration from NASA and their partners. Then enter the spaceport of the future and launch aboard one of four unforgettable journeys to distant worlds on an immersive ride. We were able to show you the static video portion of the ride as well! We also got to see space flown artifacts, that was one of my favorite parts of the new exhibit! We also take a look at the Space Shuttle Atlantis, which was the last Space Shuttle ever flown. This was a really exciting trip to KSC and we hope you had fun joining along on this adventure! Thank you for watching and we'll see you tomorrow with a new vid!

:45 I’m old school, Pluto will always be a planet.
Pluto. Will. ALWAYS. Be. A. Planet.
That’s fine, but add Ceres, Haumea Makemake, Eris and possibly many more. Space is full of lots of cool stuff. Don’t limit yourself to only what we knew years ago.
Absolutely
31, Pluto is still a planet to me!
Science with Tim Tracker. I love when you go to NASA, your enjoyment just shines through.
Fun Fact: My uncle is one of the lead engineers of that engine created by Aerojet rocketdyne. He retired a few months ago after 30+ years.
I grew up on the Space Coast...I wanted to be an Astronaut until I witnessed the Challenger explosion from my own backyard. This is a little bit of home for me. Thank you. This is so cool!!
Challenger is so sintimental story miss. Challenger witness space how come to space void by sintiments can go.
I love these shorter videos. The 20 minute mark is really nice. Sometimes when I see 30+ minute videos I don't watch them because I just don't have time.
You do know you can push pause and finish a video later? 😉 I’m just teasing! Personally I am the opposite, when I see one under 30 minutes I’m sad it’s gonna be over too fast 😊
Kennedy Space Center is so amazing! It's awesome that they've added Gateway. Such a cool way of teaching people about all of the new technologies that are developing. I love seeing all of the things that actually went to space. Thanks for bringing us along Tim! Huge hugs and love to you guys xoxo
Thank you for posting this video. I can not travel. I would love to visit the center. I love everything to do with space. Thanks Tim.
I'm right there with you, so I'm super grateful to Tracker's for all their work, and fun, they do to share with us!!!!!!!
This looks amazing thank you for taking me with you, I love the vlogs and seeing all the fun things you do one day I hope to visit
Thank you for this! On the day the rover landed on Mars in 2018, my students and I were able to attend a virtual NASA presentation and Q&A. They answered our class’ question and I’ve been hooked ever since!
The gateway exhibit looks amazing 😻
Boeing represent!!! I'm a Boeing brat. My dad worked on Lunar Orbiter in the 1960's. He and his team created the cameras and took pictures of the moon and of the earth from the moon.
I love how geeky Tim gets about NASA stuff. 🤓
🤓🤓🤓🤓
And now he and Jackson have matching shirts!
We went after a cruise in 2017. We loved it more than we thought we would. We needed another day to finish everything! Happy for you they invited you out!
So cool! My husband worked for SpaceX in Hawthorne for 7 years. Gotta check this out.
Always enjoy when Tim returns to NASA. This is totally up my alley.....love space!!!!!
Loved this video, Tim! We’d like to visit there soon. Can you tell us which hotel you stayed at? Thanks!
Tim, you guys should go to Houston Space Center sometime. It’s very cool, too.
Fascinating Tim !
Wow! This is awesome! Especially the stimulator… would love to do that one day
This gives off such dystopian future movie vibes
❤️ The Kennedy Space Centre, it’s an amazing place 🚀 xx
Thank you, thank you for taking us here. Our family loves NASA! Also, it's so nice to see something new around Florida. 😀
So glad to see the updates and new stuff. and glad to see the crowds come back. hope they keep updating stuff. Thank you for taking us!
The Space Center is such an Awesome place! great place to geek out! thx for sharing!
Great sneak peek of Gateway! Awesome!
Living in Titusville near NASA we find all kinds of space memorabilia at estate sales and garage sales. We found several 8mm movies we had transferred to DVD and I posted on CZcams for everyone to enjoy. They are from the ‘60s. We love the Neil Armstrong items we have found. I even have an Armstrong Gravitational Scale!! Let me know if you want to see it.
I would love it if they placed the Apollo 13 music when they reveal Atlantis 🤣👍
I’d love to visit this next time I’m in Florida!
Nice fun video thanks !
I need to go back to Kennedy Space Center! Haven't been there in a decade. Thanks Tim!
We cannot wait! Going in July :). Will I cry at the Atlantis reveal? Most definitely. Thanks, as always, Tim. And amazing editing as always Jenn :)
I did as well . Even when it was in Tim’s Vlog
Where did you stay? I noticed the hotel room you did the intro had a cool space theme! I would love to stay there!
Nice I was there in Feb 2020! Two years ago! It change allot in two years!
it sure has changed alot since i was there in 1993 lol
The Kennedy Space center is looking nicer than the list time I visit
You got the right stuff Tim..lol! Very cool..love it!
We just went this last Wednesday! My advice for the gateway building rides is wait until last few hours of the day, wait was just 30 minutes for one ride. Great day!
Hey Tim! So glad that you got to try out my ride! I work out at Kennedy space Center and I work at Gateway inside of spaceport. Really wish I could’ve been there the day that you were there. But I was working elsewhere. Are you going to be coming out for Artemis?
THIS IS SO COOL!
i love anything that goes up in the air thank you for showing us what Nasa has.
Thanks for this amazing video!! Im so excited to take my family here this year, and we are planning on staying near there for a night. What hotel were you at when you opened the video? Adding a night at a space themed hotel would make it even better!
I was also there that day and it was super cool
I loooove all this geekiness but I also super love that you’re continuing to protect yourself, your family & those around you by wearing your mask 💖
The large craft hanging next to the SpaceX booster is called the Dream Catcher, it is from the Sierra Nevada Corporation. Working with them currently with my employer....
Happy monday!
I absolutely loved my day here 4 years ago, very hard to describe but Best Day Ever would come pretty close 👍
Very neat to see Tim very animated and excited to be there. Glad you had a great time.
Hell yeah Tim! Really sounds like you got a nerdy side and know a lot of this stuff already!
That was pretty amazing!
Very cool, and interesting video, Tim. Thank you for sharing this with all of us. And great job, NASA!!
Socially distanced hugs to the 3 of you from New Jersey. Stay strong, stay positive, stay healthy!
Love NASA stuff! 🚀 🌙 ☀️
We went there on gateway on opening day was great
This is great!! 🤓
WE'RE GOING TO SPACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
that was interesting seeing the space vibe cool thanks tim
It will be so neat to finally get to see all this. Technology is really incredible. I remember back in 2015 I think when y’all had lunch with the female astronaut and how cool that was.
Although, I really hope they don’t forget to invest in healing the home we have, rather than looking for a new one out in space.
Fun day Tim
Just imagine what space travel is going to be like in the year 2300 amazing😳 obviously I’m toast by then 😂 but just wonder 🤔
Tim, you have to look into the firing room tour. It's one of the pricier tours but not a VIP. They only give a few security clearences a day so you have to look into it early. But they take you to the firing room from the challenger disaster that has almost been untouched. You also get to walk up to and into the lobby of the VAB. It is absolutely massive and there is some really amazing memorabilia throughout the buildings. It's definetly worth doing and pretty affordable for what it is. They also gave a tour around the property to see the American Eagle nests, HUGE!
Those tours were temporary, and ended years ago. The Launch Control Center is now being used by NASA for Project Artemis at Pad 39B, and SpaceX for Pad 39A. The VAB is also closed to the public due to Artemis operations.
That paint fun fact is crazy but that is a lot of mass i guess
I love this place, I just feel like gravity is pushing me there
ADAM SAVAGE! NO WAY!!
HEY TIM WE STAYED AT THAT HOTEL BACK IN APRIL AND WE WATCHED A 4.00AM LAUNCH FROM THE SPACE BAR, IT WAS AWESOME IN THE DARK!!! WE WILL DEFINITELY STAY THERE AGAIN WHEN WE RETURN TO SEE THE NEW EXIBIT 👍
GREAT VIDEO 👍
I love the space center it’s just so full of interesting stuff love it!
I just saw the tweet from the officials from Port Canarval about the new cruise ship today, I can’t wait to see you vlog from there!
Haven’t been here in yeaaars! I need to make a trip. 🙌
Wow so fantastic!! Thanks Tim!!
Going there this weekend! Very exciting to see :)
I know Jenn said she was disappointed because these kinds of videos don’t get as many views as the theme park ones, but I loved this video. We just spent yesterday at KSC, and we’ve been saving this video to watch after we saw the new Gateway exhibit. We also enjoyed seeing the present and future developments in space exploration and LOVE KSC (just bought an annual pass - take two - our first one we did not get as much use out of, due to the pandemic). I love seeing your excitement for KSC stuff. Thank you for making this video.
im so glad to see that you go to this kind of thing too. one day ill make it there myself
So excited to go see this!!
I need to make an effort to go visit Kennedy Space Center when I’m in FL.
So excited for this we're heading there in a few weeks
Awesome adventure.
Tim telling himself that he did a good job 🤣
Me admitting that I do the same thing 🤓😜😑
I love the timtracker so so much
thank you
I love how the Rover Simulators are the same simulators used for Cyberspace Mountain
What’s really REALLY cool and lucky is that I get to see all this up close thanks to Astro Pak. Definitely a privilege and a learning experience. Thank you SpaceX and Blue Origin
Hope you all are having a great day!
Super cool 😎
Mission success! You’re a rocket scientist now!
The new Cruise liner Disney cruise liner is arrived in 14th july
tim : you guys should come to huntsville alabama , and tour the us space and rocket center center .. and take the tour .. ..
Cool to hear you mention the Aerojet RL-10 engine. I'm an engineer for a company that makes a part on that engine. I've been a part of the team involved with that part for over 30 years I've been with the company.
Thank you for the great tour. For out of town visitors to the area, would one day suffice or would you recommend more? Thanks
I can sense your shots fired a little towards Boeing and I couldn’t be happier lol
Having driven through KSC property every day to and from work in Titusville, I wondered why the heck they were building a hotel out on the mainland part of the 405 next to the police hall of fame. It looks like a hotel for KSC visitors, really. Being as I just moved to the midwest last month, I have forgotten what the name was (it was some prolific hotel chain). Glad to see someone I "know" got to go there. Really nice view of the VAB ... and the construction of the new bridge on the 405.
Great commentary and my mom is a big space geek and we can’t wait to go see gateway
I went to science center in Great Lakes Cleveland to see the space exhibit before pandemic.
this is the place where you can find heaven
SpaceX is building a Starship launch pad at Kennedy Space Center. When that’s up and running it’s going to be crazy. Those rockets are being tested in Texas right now and they are absolutely massive compared to the stuff we currently launch.
I'm a bit of a casual space nerd (I would never have the attention span to actually study it, though), so this makes me really happy! This is only the second Kennedy Space Center video I've seen--so looks like I'll be exploring the playlist I just saw in the thumbnail 😊
Those are transparent OLED screens. That’s what Velocicoasters raptors chasing the train windows are
Great video, definately on my list of places to revisit soon. It has been over thirty years since I have been to KSC.
On a side note Tim have you ever considered updating your logo?
Which blog shows the room with the pieces of the Challenger?
Thank you so much for going to the kenedy space center. Its such a special place. Please do more videos from kenedy
What hotel is that you stayed in? My daughter and I need a hotel to stay in prior to our cruise next year that leaves out of Port Canaveral. We are visiting the Kennedy Space Center complex the day before the cruise leaves.
FIRST!
Cool
Nice work Tim
