      It’s equivalent to a 10L-12L package in India and there are no big hikes every year like in India.

    Very interesting indeed. Only question is. Any university in uk teaching linux operating system properly? I mean teaching the from the operating system kernel source code and from some relevant books and teaching the networks implemented in linux or even windows.

    • @himansh0715
      @himansh0715 Před rokem +1

      depends on curriculum, but hardly any university goes in this depth. Kernal programming and kernal security is something you have to do on your own. Every university teaches you things which are relevant and applicable in current job market, that's it. If you want to study or research really deep then it's on you.

      @@himansh0715 I disagree with it. If you don't know how the Linux system and the kernel works,then not gonna be able to protect the system from the attcks. Basically almost every webserver using linux because its free and easly to be programmed If you know what are you doing. Any university which is not teaching linux at least intermediate level not relevant. Basically waste of your money and tour time.

      @@himansh0715 Linux is relevant for the cyber security jobs. Always been and always will be. Anything(like Windows) else just means nothing.

      @@himansh0715 Maybe in the capitalist school system universities not dealing with the Linux kernel. BUT THERE IS AN Ex communist countries universisties are teaching properly (not all of them) at least 2 or 3 semesters long.

      depends on you, security and cloud computing are different. cybesec have so many sub-fields but cloud computing is simple you have to gain knowledge of cloud and it's working that it.

      Any undergrad/postgrad programme that's accredited by the National Cyber Security Centre are the best courses in cybersecurity in the UK. Doubt you will need coding experience to get into university but getting employed is another ball game especially competing with others that have coding knowledge. My advice is to learn a coding language like Python even if it's basic scripting, which will only come with benefits anyway. Most cybersecurity roles will require at least very basic scripting such as bash, shell, or python so don't disregard it and finally please learn basic networking theory such as TCP/IP and how packets are routed as many cybersecurity professionals lack this skill. Please see link attached for all NCSC certified degrees in cybersecurity.
