11:39 I disagree! If you watched Ma Long the last couple of years, you'll noticed that he trained this shot a lot! And it feels like it's finally another safe and effective tool for him. So it might look quirky and different, because only few use this technique, but it's not to disrespect the opponent.

Almost feels like Ma Long has been trying to incorporate Moregard type shots into his game...Haven't seen him play like this before....Of course Liang Jingkun struggled against Moregard so maybe not a bad choice here...
Yeah 😂 he said in one of his interviews that Truls Moregard is a legend and he’s his idol. So he was training to be as good as him (Truls) and was thus trying to learn his style 😂😂😂
@@aalokatmaa1606 Very funny. :) Certainly not implying that Ma Long needs to learn anything from Moregard as he is the legend. Moregard's game at times is a bit gimmicky and he needs consistency.
He's been slowly incorporating more truls-style chop blocks into his game for a little while now
He's been using a lot of these type of shots post surgery, so for a few years already
@@Coops321 No my friend, if you watch his games of past 10 years, you can see him using his chop blocks and fancy styles more often and this.

I do not watch Table Tennis from this camera angle. It is very insulting of the WTT to force this upon us. I turned it off every time.
