    Great video. I might consider Obsbot's Tiny 4K.

    I own it for a while now, but I only started to dig into it recently. When you manage to know how to get the most out of it, the picture quality is really good, not mentioning the other features. And I think that's the difference compared to an osmo pocket 3, which is well setup out of the box.

    OK, you told us how this camera can track you, follow an object you've told it follow.
    However there are some detailed you've missed out in the video, such as
    1. What sort of focual range the lens has.
    2. How far can it zoom.
    2. You told us it's 'portable' but you've not mentioned how kong the onboard battery lasts.
    3. What's is the aperture.
    4. How well does it perform in a low light situation. etc

      Valid point about low light tests and discuss of focal range/zoom
      23mm f/1.8 equivalent with 4x digital zoom
      2:32 shows its aperture
      3:11 says how long the battery is rated for
      6:28 outdoor scene showing discuss from half court

    This looks awesome and I think I have a use case for it for remote work but for live streaming high school soccer games from the top of the bleachers I'm concerned it might not have the field of vision/zoom capability that I'm looking for to upgrade over iphone 15 pro max or possibly the NS VM33.

    • @MatsuXL
      @MatsuXL  Před 24 dny +1

      The NS VM33 has major zoom and built in battery to last for a while. The biggest thing I had with the vm33 is that if you have to stream through its built in app. what you are streaming through now app wise?

      @@MatsuXL iphone 15 pro max on a tri pod through the Live Now 3rd party app. It does fine for middle of the field play but when at either end of the field it gets a little tough to see what is happening and because you have to pinch to zoom on the screen it makes it difficult to dynamically adjust perspective.

    • @MatsuXL
      @MatsuXL  Před 23 dny +1

      @ShaneBHoover you were going to see the same thing with the vm33. Does amazing zoom but panning isn’t that good and will have to be done via tripod. The vm doesn’t play well outside its own app unless you want to use via an NDI capable app. That and it’s capped at 1080p so after optical zoom you get digital zoom and it crops your camera image vs your phone tech hits higher at 4k (mind you it scales back on stream encoding)

      @@MatsuXL very interesting. I’m so new to all this I hardly know where to start. You can see my iPhone tests on my CZcams. It’s tough to get anything very good at the opposite ends of the field and absent a good zooming single camera I might have to set up three over NDI

      @@MatsuXL I feel like this went from a $500 project to a $2-3k project.

    How reliable would you say the object tracking is compared to the face/person tracking?

    • @MatsuXL
      @MatsuXL  Před měsícem +1

      That’s a good question. I may need to do a video just of this alone!

    Is it worth twice the price of the Insta360 Link though?

    • @MatsuXL
      @MatsuXL  Před měsícem +1

      Yes when you consider it’s not just a USB webcam. The insta360 Link only runs over USB. With the Tail Air you also get hdmi, wireless, and Ethernet connections. Also you get a built in battery for offline use and built in recording
