The"rule" for ISO is to use the native ISO, not just as low as possible. You needed to increase your ISO. When you hit Auto, it adjusted the ISO up to 200. You could have done that manually and kept the appropriate shutter speed.
@@stevealexander7772 yup that’s the rule. Except there no designated native iso. Prior to making video , I even matched manually what it had as auto and it was two different images. I may have said that in the video. Hopefully I did
@@Blasten interesting. I'm using a C100 with cine lenses for my webcam but am thinking of going 4K. I like the simplicity of the Facecam Pro compared to a "real" camera.
@stevealexander7772 nice. I Just sold my c70. C100 looks great. If you want the tac sharp image , 4K pro is awesome. If you want the better color, mkii is the one. Either way, I think both are great.
Wow, so the Facecam Mark 2 huh? Aight bet thats half the price of the pro. I want to record video for remote recording for my podcast, but not sure i want to keep setting up and taking down my camera all the time. So wanted some options of what i could just keep in my studio.

Id love to see you compare the facecam mk2 to the emeet s800. I find the mk 2 has way too much video noise and does a softning effect that im not a fan of.

What do you think about something like an Elgato Facecam Pro MkII (basically a FC PRO with 4K60 and the color science of the MKII)
Or would a dedicated camera be better at the price point of this?
Great question. I actually asked if they were making a Facecam pro with hdr but they couldn’t confirm or deny. My assumption is that it will be since the cheaper face cam neo has hdr, and elgato has a tendency to make newer versions of models.
Wich webcam is better for 1080? Mark2 or the pro? I have an el gato key light and green screen.
Mkii looks more natural. If you want to zoom in or record video and punch in, pro will be the move.
