Thank you for the recipe, we used different spices and brined it but did everything else the same way. It turned out great for thanksgiving. Now we have to do this every year!
You’re very welcome! Thanks so much for trying it out!
I used this technique and recipe for Thanksgiving 2022. It turned out amazing.
I like using a designated, pruning shears to cut out the backbone. So much easier and safer! Thank you, very much for posting this. I would have liked it if you had told us if we need to preheat the grill to a certain temperature and if we need to lower it or what! Also, does the weight of the bird coincide with the amount of TIME and at WHAT TEMPERATURE would have been very nice! Perhaps you will care enough to come back and give these very important facts that are necessary for every recipe! I will give you another chance and look at more of your site! I have no experience with GRILLING, so if you are good at explaining, I look forward to learning from you! Thanks! I will get back to you!
So am goi g to do this on my Dyna-Glo gas grill. Brining too. Both will be my first. 🤣🤣
Sounds awesome! Let us know how it turns out! 🔥🍗🔥
Thank you for the video. My turkey came out incredible!
Awesome! So glad you tried it out! Thanks for much!
Looks Great…
I separated the leg from the breast meat. The leg finished cooking 45 earlier than the breast. Had to bring the grill temps to 450 and 500 to get the breast meat to reach 165F.
So sorry it didn't work out perfect. Not being there a lot of things could have happened. Some grills have areas that are hotter than others. It's possible maybe the turkey was partially frozen? Hope it still turned out yummy and you try spatchcocking again. Have a great week!

What brand thermometer do you recommend
Thanks for watching! My goto thermometer is from Tappecue and what I used in this video. They make an awesome wireless thermometer that you can monitor from your phone.www.tappecue.com

Thank you so much! Excited to try it this Thanksgiving
fist comment lets gooo its a good recipie can you bake on that grill
I cant turn the burners off on my Cuisinart 3 in pizza oven grill. Suggestions?
Sorry I just saw this. You probably could if you can create enough indirect heat. You don’t want the turkey over direct heat but if your grill can reach a temperature of 350-400°F with half the burners off you should be good to go
GOOD AMOUNT OF MAYONNAISE????? HOW MUCH.... SALT .... HOW MUCH?????
