Rishabh's journey from making movies less than a crore to minting hundreds of crores, crores of ppl adoring him ❤️
Him and Rakshit they always had a good eye how numbers work, credits to their initial commercial failures.
They always said, " if you are getting into a particular business, you must know the business model of it"
Though a risky style, their budget during shoot consisted just of the required production cost and then once the break even or profit came in they shared it with their team.
But, definitely the undeniable thing is they never compromised on the quality of storytelling for easy money.
Rishab's Sarkari Hiriya is the testament to that, pulled off a very sensitive topic neatly.

It was genuinely a nice gesture by Anil Kapoor when he mentioned how much Sita Ramam was loved by people this year. I felt that although Anupama Chopra called DQ, she never really asked him any questions about the movie or what his experience was. He isn’t a Telugu speaking person, and to play the leading role in Telugu with such conviction deserves a lot of respect and praise. Really wanted to hear more from him tbh.

Yes .. exactly 🙌.. Hardly Dulquer was allowed to speak and that Varun Dhawan kept interfering and interrupted every time Dulquer spoke.. so annoying it was. Varun feels that he as if , he knows everything under the sun .. He may know how to speak, but doesn't know when to speak.. First , he must learn to respect the speaker , whoever it is.. when it was Dulquer 's turn to speak, Varun never allowed him to complete his sentences.. it's so insane actually.. Horrible behaviour by Varun Dhawan!!

And anil kapoor sir dodged a lot of them lol. the man said it himself he's not the right guy for the deep talks. Truly thoda odd toh h, to mix such purane actors w the newer guys. Before 2000s filmmaking and fanfare hi alag the. So for someone like him to have had ample royal experience to now not as much or even having to share whatever spotlight w sooo many competing fresh faces on multiple platforms ..must be a little tough to navigate. He knows ab ye kitna zyada difficult h to remain in work and relevant, for a person of his "stature", isliye all he can say is that he's fortunate to still keep it going. Ye oddness hume feel toh hua iss conversation me.

I honestly came to see this interview for three people: Dulqueer Salmaan because he's my absolute fav, Rishab, and Vijay Raaz but I'm so impressed by Anil. Anil conducted himself so gracefully, especially with the question about 'hearing bad scripts'. You can see the respect he has for his profession, and his peers, and like Raj, you can see him absorb all the content. His maturity just shines through him, and I adored his presence throughout.

Everyone just sitting around rishab Shetty sir and telling about their performances ..like I just couldn’t ..the man itself is the definition of greatness and hard work …how can anyone be calm after watching his work and not admire him like the audience did is beyond my understanding..
This is a good lot. Honestly, Jahnvi did very well in that remake. Kantara is, BUT OF COURSE, beyond!!!!! THAR was a great experience as well (I'm sure most haven't watched it so go ahead and check it out). Others too were all great in their own capacities.
Edit: I LOVE and admire that AK was on the separate chair since he's a veteran and has decades upon most on the couches. Great production call!!!!

Rishabh Shetty, even if he doesnt speak much, steals the entire show. The innocence, the simplicity, and the pride that he has for his roots is just so surreal. This what we really need in the Indian film Industry, stories rooted deep in the indian culture, something that people can connect to. I am not from Karnataka, but the ritual that was shown in Kantara movies happens in North India too, so i could not completely,but to a greater extent, connect to it. Thats what we as an audience need...something raw and real. Hats off to Rishabh Shetty sir for providing us with the surreal experience theough Kantara
