- Due to an ice storm, much of Vancouver woke up Wednesday morning to roads and sidewalks under a sheet of ice causing slippery conditions.

I did too at first but Broadway and 7th didn't make sense.
This showed up on my Google Chrome news feed and I thought “Ooooo… I wonder if Robson Street would be an ice rink tomorrow”. Clicked the link and saw this strange street and guy and a network I never heard of; fake news station like “Rebel News”
Me too...Broadway and 7th run parallel in the Canada side of Vancouver. Something didn't see right.

🤦I kept looking at this going, this is not Vancouver. Broadway and 7th run parallel. Then I see a Seahawks logo in the background and I am like no way this is in Vancouver. Haha it is, it's Vancouver WA, and I am in Vancouver B.C. thanks Google for giving me the wrong Vancouver report. Oi is this what today is going to be like.

This is what it was like in Vancouver BC last week though, just ICE... we got snow this week tho, nice and fluffy for traction. :

We get this in Montreal every year and the roads get cleaned up ... Montreal has a yearly budget of $ 170 million to keep roads and sidewalks free of snow and ice ... nothing stops

Folks. It's the city not willing to spend more money on salting and plowing the roads. Stop the "oh they should have snow tires " nonsense. Ice is almost a frictionless surface. No tires can gain traction on it.

So many other spots in the state of Oregon to broadcast from, yet they choose Washington.

Like a quarter of Portland's population moved across the river because of insane rents in the late 2010s
