Try to imagine if you've got even 2-3 senior players whispering, "this guys doesn't know what he's doing" or "this guys training is stupidly hard" or "these tactics don't work" that ROT spreads. It undermines the job of bedding into a new system and its killing change before it can be adapted. That's United's problem now, and if we change manager the SAME THING will happen, the second A COUPLE OF HARD GAMES HAPPEN, THINGS DONT GO WELL, THE WHISPERING STARTS AND THE BLAME BEGINS. It will kill ANY manager stone dead. You have to run through the difficulties to bed in a new system and give all to make it work, to learn it, to adapt to it, to become that way of playing and if you have a squad of little whisperers, you're finished before you start. Bad apples rot the cart, understand that.

I hope Erik is our manager next season and if he fails to improve he and Utd can part ways at the end of his contract. Heâs had exceptionally high standards and he hasnât taken any shit off players. Heâs had some big calls to make and A TON of problems. ETH Iâm sorry that we failed you as a club Iâm sorry you inherited this mess. He wasnât willing to sacrifice his principles of football and his vision for the club this season just to get short term results and that might ultimately get him the sack. Hate to see him go if he leaves, heâs a proper coach and he will get another big job at the top level at a proper club and probably win trophies just as heâs done everywhere else in his career. I don't think Erik will be sacked! When Jim Ratcliffe came in at the beginning he already said that the environment and structure of the club is not conducive for any manager that came in before and also for Erik, so this needs to be addressed! I am sure he will be given a chance to show what he can do next season with improvements to the medical team and also bringing in some new players with the new proper footballing structure behind them!
