  • Seoul is the capital of South Korea. it is also the largest city there, and has the third largest metropolitan population among Asian cities with 26 million people.
Seoul occupies a plain in the Han River Valley. This contains some of the most fertile Korean land, even though a small amount of it is being used today.
Seoul experienced a huge population boom in the 1950's, and over time, the city just got more congested and difficult. Since then, though, Seoul has turned into one of the greenest megacities in the world!
In this video, we're talking about how Seoul demolished a freeway to restore an ancient river system.

Pfft. Puh-lease. Comparing the total garbage cities of Tokyo and New York to the jewel in the crown of cities is hilarious.
It is other cities which must try to keep up with Seoul.
