Assalamu Alaikum sis/bros. Sadly, we are socialized and educated on how to be “successful” as a pathway to happiness! Unfortunately, we are derailed in our pursuit of Jannah. Ya Allaah help us to help each other and our descendants to not obsess about the trappings of dunya. Thank you so much Shaykh for the reminder. I have been muslim my whole life but I never really get to grasp the concept of life especially being a muslim myself. Though I have learned basic knowledge of Islam growing up it just somewhat still feels not hollistic enough for me to feel connected. May Allah blesses us everlasting contentment in this world InshaAllah.
