    This was really helpful. I have to find out why my driver side HID won’t turn on and now I can get the headlight out to check the ballast and module. Really appreciate it.

      Don't do it the way this guy shows you. Its much quiker to leave the bumper on and just take replace your headlights the way I explained above. Its much easier and quiker then having to remove the bumper! You don't even need tools to do the passenger side. And only a phillips screw driver to do the driver side.

      On this set up we used one Bluetooth controller to run dogs and headlights together . It is possible to separate them on two controllers and run top and bottom separately.

      @onpointcustomauto1289 hey quick question. I found a 2018 Camaro SS front bumper that's the same color as my 2018 Camaro LT w RS package. Would a Bumper Swap be compatible if I just replace the DRLs??

    I have a 2018 Camaro zl1. Are there any other things I need to unbolt to take the front bumper off? I want to put a mesh grill behind the bumper to keep rocks off the radiator that lays flat. Are there any cool looking mesh grills that you would recommend and where to find them?

      I'm trying to do the same, I found a similar bumper on ebay, since our car comes with the fog lights vertical you need a different bumper than the SS and Zl1.

    If you're trying to replace just a fog light, you'll have to still take the entire bumper off unfortunately. Definitely was not a fun solo job, especially trying to fit the bumper back on... took about 2 and a half hours for me. Oh well

  • @lakersuck21
    @lakersuck21 Před 3 lety

    Does the entire bumper need to be removed to replace only the driver side fog light assembly?

    • @onpointcustomauto1289

    • @danmartin4813
      @danmartin4813 Před 4 měsíci

      No. Read what I put above and you'll see its much easier then having to take 3 or 4 hours out of your day when you can do it my way and be done in 30 minutes. You don't have to take off the fricken bumper, my god!

    My passenger headlight works fine, except that the bracket that holds the HID bulb doesn't click into place (so it infinitely turns & falls out of the socket)
    Have you or anyone else had this issue before?
    It's extremely frustrating & I don't want to buy an entire new headlight unit for something so small
