Yupp it depends on your state....for DELHI starting salary for a fresher is 35k-40k ....with certificates and by attending workshops it can be 40-50k, ( for eg, in LNJP a bpt graduate has a starting salary of 45,230rs/month...) And after mpt the starting package in hospitals like Max,appolo is 6Lakh/annum ...and in govt it is around 60-65k/month ....and salaries are not static they keep on increasing time to time as per your experience and skills....but most of the part is that salary depends on your state......

Without proper knowledge of salary of pt ,plz don't say something and all ,the salary of pt depends on the place they work,if ur freshers just graduated from bpt if u get a job in govt sector u will get a starting salary of 40k per month,and one more thing,the therapist who completes mpt in several department will not get a starting salary of 40 k they get still lower
True, I agree with your point about a Bpt Fresher getting 40k in a govt sector but as the saturation for freshers increases, There is not an equal opportunity to get a govt job, Hence I did not include this point and according to my research which I obviously did with proper knowledge, 80 percent of mpt physiotherapists earn above 40,000/- rs.

many hospital authorities compelling physiotherapist to pull physio machine trolley to bed side of each patient for treatment not giving dignity to them their condition is bad than ward boys
The physiotherapist should not comply with such actions and should immediately take action

Jo bahut kam salary hai keh rahe hai to vo kripya neet 600+ scores se crack kare aur mbbs krein. BPT ho ya mbbs mehnat sbme hai. Pharma krke bhi log 10k kamate hai pr vahi kuch log 50k bhi so it depends on your skills. Ye india ke log kab smjhenge degree se hi sb nhi hota. Engineering krke bhi log berozgaar hai aur mba krke bhi vahi ye dono degrees krke kuch log lakho m kama rhe hai. So it all depends on your efforts. Please do not degrade any field. Thankyou.

Depends, there is a huge rush in bds now u will see most of the people who fail or just lose hope on mbbs join bds... Its so common... BDS somewhere requires a decent neet score and BPT doesnt require NEET, but has entrance exams
Concluding, Skills are necessary in any medical field so its up to you what u wanna do..
BPT is somehow underrated, I am a 2nd year BPT student.... But wont recommend you..

Physiotherapy(BPT) some realities
1)Major portion of physiotherapy graduates dont have job or working with very less salery many physiotherapist left the field for lively hood
2)5060 physiotherapy graduates passed out each year in south India itself. 200 beded hospital only need 1 physiotherapist . Students passed out previas years remains hear as jobless how many hospitals should be there to accomodate this huge number
3)Job opertunities abroad also reducing substatialy each year, physiotherapist who migrated to US UK Caneda Australia works in supermarket Hotels petrol pumb etc.Many gulf countries now appoints employes who are natives of that country
4)Many hospitals now converting their physiotherapy department to Physical medicine and rehabilitation (PMR)HOD will be physiatrist (MBBS DPMR )role of a physiotherapist in this department is just a helper
5)Since there is no regulatory authority for physiotherapy in India somany unautherised practices (quakery)going on in this field This also reduces job opertunities
6)Now a days new threat also there... Bvok physiotherapy that is common in normal arts collage only 3 years, course. Hospitals appoint these people with less salary
7)In big hospitals physiotherapy is under physitrist when it comes to small hospital it is under nursing suprend. Physiotherapist managed physiotherapy department in hospitals are very few
8)Running own clinic need huge investment no patients approach physiotherapist directly reference from medical doctors is a must usualy they give pain killers to patient or ask commission for each reference. Majority of clinics closed already or in loss
9)"Physiotherapists are called as doctors "" these are only just canvasing words of agents during admision. In practical sence none of the hospitals, gov bodies allow this
10)If a person join BPT who are the benificiaries. Career guidance people who took admission will get commission. Collage authorities will get donation fees fine etc in huge amount after struggling 4 & half years. Private hospitals will appoint him as a trainee (slave)with out salary and charge him thousands for experience cirtificate after some years this physiotherapist will quit physiotherapy field for livelihood
