I started using these when I first started playing. Took away the sting of slicing into the woods. Now I use the Callaway Supersoft. I can get the Callaway for 10 bucks a dozen in AAAA used condition. The Nitros feel like hitting rocks now that I'm used to the Callaways.

Good review. I am a higher handicap and just started so I picked some up. They are definitely rocks! After 1 round I took them home to hit into the practice net.

Mid-high handicapper old guy with a 105 club head speed using a turnkey PXG 0211 set. Have played these a lot. I like them a lot. Hit more fairways with them, they fly high and straight as an arrow. I hit them regularly 250-270 with at least one sniffing 300 every round. 150 nine iron. have no problem getting them to stop on the greens but will admit my balls go really high due to hand position. Played The Wynn last fall and my caddy was ribbing me about them so I told him to hit some and he was surprised how good they felt. It is a good ball IMO.

I totally agree with you. I've been playing ProV1 for a while now and I tried the Nitro just for fun. For about 0.60$ a ball compared to 6$ a ball, I was curious. My club speed is like yours and same thing for distance (I'm a 4 handicap). I played a round hitting a Nitro and ProV1. Nitro felt a bit softer, but apart from that, results were the same. There was nothing justifying paying 10x the price. If you look at the data presented for the 7 iron and driver, they are the same. And that's what I saw when playing my round. The driver seems shorter, but the speed is 3 mph less, explaining the 8 yards difference. I saw no difference chipping from around the green. So I play Nitro now. Save my money. And If I hit a bad shot in the wilderness, I don't waste my time looking for it. I just drop another one, hit again and smile. I can play almost with a new ball on every hole for the price of a ProV1. If you disregard the marketing and hype (and golfer's ego), there is nothing justifying paying 6$ a ball. But I love this country because we are free to chose. so play with what you thing is good for you. Cheers and thanks for posting the video!

My son just started playing and he loses A LOT of balls, these work fine for him. A 45 pack for less than a few sleeves of PRO-V1 helps it not sting so bad when his sails into the woods 😂

I'm a lower handicap and I've hit a few nitro that I found and I actually like them. There not like a rock to me. Just don't that really nice cushy felling when you hit them good. I'd play them tho. For a cheap ball, I play the spalding 85 compression ball. I actually like that ball as much as a prov1. You tested them I think. My favorite is the Vice. Can't lose em and I love the feel of that ball. Its nor cheap. You can get used mint kirklands for about 75 cents a ball and that ball is hard to beat for cheap.

That's mostly what I buy for testing and comparing to others ball as I'm a cheapskate. You need more likes. You're channel is one of the best on CZcams.

94 MPH is a good swing for me. I've been working on gaining speed.
